Much has been written, over the past weeks and months, of the cover-up of organised 'grooming gangs' by successive UK governments. Sadly, this is nothing new. The most egregious by far, is a club where over 300 children were abused either by direct employees or recognised associates - Celtic FC. Worse still, from 1974 onwards, those with the power at the club to do something about it, did nothing. Today we will post the testimony given by former Celtic FC chairman and Celtic Boys Club president Kevin Kelly on 6 Nov 1998, at the trial of Celtic Boys Club founder and coach, Jim Torbett. So far, it appears that no settlement has been agreed.
