It makes the Utah admin look less incompetent in terms effort but totally inept in the contract and final agreement.

@carbonmfg @stoolpresidente For what it’s worth summer saying that that’s kind of the industry standard for athletic department contracts. Whittingham has such deep ties to Utah that it’s just really tricky for outsiders to really get a pulse on it.
Both parties fucked up. It’s like a normal divorce.

@stoolpresidente I assumed the Utes did Whit dirty - I respect what the Utes did. It also shows a limit to where they placed his value.
Whit did them dirty - but the fans need to stop crying about it. They could have spent a bit more to keep him if they wanted to, they didn't.

@BartleKSLsports Ann awkward ending at Utah. He publicly expressed uncertainty about continuing to coach in the last few years. Poor guy was forced to leave to become the head coach of the college football program with the most wins in history. Excited for a new era with Scalley at the helm.
