@SuccessWithJake In this day, ghosting is quite the standard.
Personally, I am just too busy to get into debates or explaining why. (I’d assume many share that perspective)
Just accept the L and move on.

@SuccessWithJake This sign should be in every founder’s office. Comfort = slow death in business.
English

@SuccessWithJake I never ghost on purpose.
The problem is, the other person tends to ghost me too (no follow up).

@TylerPurcell24 They are amazing souls. Thanks for sharing man

Profession I am most grateful for?
L&D nurses
2 of my children had trouble coming into this world and spent some time in the NICU.
I watched them save my son’s life standing just 5 feet away.
He came out not breathing. They instantly knew something was wrong.
They quickly got him over to the incubator. 5 more nurses rushed in.
Their communication was unbelievable. Each one knew exactly what they needed to do.
One nurse manually pumping air into his lungs.
One nurse rushing to clear his airway.
One nurse monitoring his heart rate and communicating it to the whole crew.
No hesitation, no quiver in their voices.
I started to hear some scary words. Code Pink, intubation.
I’m standing there. To my left is my newborn son, struggling to survive. To my right, my wife asking “is he going to be ok”.
Right then, he started to take a few breaths on his own.
Due to their heroic efforts, he only had to spend a week in the NICU and is a healthy 4 year old kid.
Forever grateful to all the amazing nurses out there and especially those that bring life into this world ❤️

@SuccessWithJake Unfortunately we live in the ghosting culture
English

@jamesglenos Yah for sure
Just shocking to me because they spent a fortune to build this house and somehow didn’t think of these super basic things!
English

@adamislucky This was my thought too Adam!
But I was talking to someone else, and they seemed like it really wasn’t a big deal
So of course I went to X to see if anyone else had an opinion 😂
English

@SuccessWithJake Let them know, it'll save the follow up loop. A quick no is a gift!
English

It’s always polite. But not saying anything isn’t rude either, it’s not like they are sitting waiting for your reply.
Jacob Becker@SuccessWithJake
Is it polite to let someone know when you go another direction? Product. Service. Proposal. Whatever. Or is ghosting just accepted at this point?
English

@SuccessWithJake Guess they skipped that part of the hospitality training
English

@jayhastings79 Makes sense Jay. I think you nailed it about just not having the business sense
Good intentions, not so good execution
English

@SuccessWithJake Best intentions. I believe it.
Don’t have business sense of large chains and ability to accommodate.
I got tired of having to do shopping and clean up. I’d rather have in hotel bar and restaurant if need quick drink or snack
English

@SuccessWithJake And that’s why we went back to our major hotel chains and their rewards programs…
That’s criminal and it happens all the time
English

@SuccessWithJake They are new to operating. Give them the feedback they need so they can fix all the issues for future guests. If they still have issues in 6 months, then that is really on them. The below is my background on the subject. 👇

@SuccessWithJake Those are luxuries, you needed the upgraded package for hot water.

@SuccessWithJake Congratulations to her and all of you beautiful family
