Gm Happy heavenly birthday to M (son’s mother/former fiancee) A few fun stories about us: - we met on Hinge when I was across the country for military training , she happened to be living nearby at the time. She told me she had 250 matches, rarely looked. Her phone vibrated when she was stuck in traffic, saw me, thought I was attractive, went to same college, we went from there. Knowing what I know now, she probably did have 250. God had a plan - our first date was at a Chili’s. I had 24 hours to get to another base so we met an hour outside of where I had to go/close to her. She was an hour late and I almost had to just go. She showed up with a camo American flag as a welcome present, said ‘Merica, then started making out with me. She denied this, but she was the aggressor. I was ok with it - I found out she was pregnant at 6 am on a random week day. I got out of the gym and she sent a long text breaking up with me. I called her, said what is your problem. She goes im pregnant! I said no you are not. A Few hours later, she sent me a picture of six positive pregnancy tests - I was getting promoted to Captain a few months after Little Boy Kong was born. We decided the road trip wasn’t worth it. A few minutes before the ceremony, she texted me a picture of our son wearing a bow tie, sitting next to the Army teddy bear I got him. He was holding a sign that said “proud of you, Daddy!” We lived a lifetime in those 4.5 years. I miss her every day Love you M

I was extremely nervous proposing to M We ended up in our son’s room, ring in my pocket. I had the speech planned out for weeks She turns around, I get down on a knee and blurt out “MARRY ME” Not a question, just yelled marry me I think she said yes, I actually don’t know. But she put the ring on, we told her mom (who didn’t really care lol, Bosnian grandmas), then got food and quite handsy at an Applebees Getting engaged, 10/10
