I saw no evidence of one. I haven't had a seizure in a decade plus, but every seizure I've had was a grand mal. To test if they can be induced visually, the tech had me lie down on a table three or maybe 3.5 feet off the ground to watch the light show. No straps. Now, that's not a very far fall... unless you're out of your head and can make no attempt to break your fall. If you land face first onto a tile floor while seizing, you are likely to lose some teeth and maybe break some facial bones. When *trying* to induce a seizure, that setup seems quite... suboptimal. Second and a much bigger worry for me: when I first start coming back from a grand mal I am decidedly not chill, and that lasts a while. I used to wrestle and play defensive end which is a terrible set of muscle memories to have when your reptile brain is screaming "flee", people are trying to restrain you, and you have temporary full fledged retard strength with a hard-'R'. I told her all that beforehand. If she had a plan it was "exit the room and lock the door" which, uhhhh, doesn't seem great from my perspective but medical people rarely seem to listen so it's kinda par for the course 🤷🏻
