It’s far worse than just embarrassing.. the lack of a cogent response based on empirical fact and a bit of foresight is going to result in damaging if not catastrophic outcomes for NZ. The shitheads in govt are playing politics with a crisis of magnitude very few people alive in the nation today has experienced. We will be squeezed with real material shortages already baked in.. the impacts intensify with every day of inaction. Things *will* change out of necessity.. but in the interim, thanks to the current gaggle of miscreants stinking up govt benches.. the nation will soon receive a collective kick to crouch.. over and over again.. until we rid those govt benches of the stench.

We, NZ, have the weakest fuel response in the World. We have done SFA to help people. Farmers, transport, and Whanau all get the same bullshit from the Govt. It’s #Embarrassing.

Taxing wages & salaries at higher rates is NOT a solution. Govt spending (creating new $) whatever is required to be spent then recovering those sums by taxing everything rentier; business & individuals, *IS* the solution. NZ is one of the only nations on the planet to have a positive net-worth (assets vs liabilities).. we're sovereign and issue our own debt to ourselves.. thus govt creating all the required monies is not a problem.
