The MLB should do what the NBA did: institute a convoluted cap system that few fans really understand, makes trades much more difficult to execute and forces teams into impossible decisions with regards to contracts for star players. That would be great.

@sponhourm I think mlb needs to have a form of the second apron. If you go over a certain number you lose all your draft picks for that year, can’t add salary during the season, must be 100% tax on top of every dollar over the limit.
