This is so true and it’s not even close.
Also way more productive per hour worked. There’s simply zero chance you’re working this hard if your rent is $600/mo being a nomad on a beach somewhere in Asia.
There’s no motivator like the American cost of living.

@dannybuck Since you’re focusing on Craftd the mobile responsiveness is off and some element is pushing the bounds of the page off to the right allowing for side scrolling. Hope that helps.

Never build multiple brands at once. Trust me, just don't do it. I've got majority equity in Craftd which allows me to focus on the golden egg. Minority in a few now and it's bliss. Being pulled all over the show is a fast way to make them all fail.

i think i currently have one of the best creative strategists in the world here’s what that looks like 1. the guy is just obsessed with the brands he’s working on he knows their ads, he knows their product better than the client knows it himself, he re-watches every call recording so he doesn’t miss anything he knows what angles worked, which ad performed best, which ads didn’t, he knows why, he just knows 2. he downloads every single good ad he sees online that’s how he never runs out of ideas, he’s on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Foreplay, YouTube, and Atria he has a list of brands that he’s spying on every single day so he doesn’t miss anything he has a list of Twitter profiles for everything - eComm - creative strategy - direct-response - UGC everything you can think of he’s just obsesses with collecting information and studying it 3. his research process is absurdly detailed reddit, twitter, ad account, chatgpt, claude, perplexity, customer reviews, ad comments, youtube, tiktok, youtube shorts he doesn’t miss anything 4. great understanding of what angles to use if he has to create 10 concepts for a client, all 10 will be unique angles that the client has never tested that’s why he always has an ad that hits - he just experiments with shit that the ad account has never seen before 5. the guy just doesn’t complain i hate working with people who complain, this guy just gets the job done 6. he’s abusing ai he told me that lately his ai started one-shotting ad creative scripts 7. he has an eye for good visuals because he was a video editor previously, he knows what a good hook is that’s why 7/10 of his hooks will have a 50% hook rate while being relevant to his target customer i’m now hiring another creative strategist, you know what i’m looking for, my DMs are open

One of the biggest unlocks I’ve had in Ecom is stupidly simple but not many actually do it
It’s literally just having multiple sources of creative
For us it looks like:
Internal creative team
Multiple agencies
Freelancers
Softwares for statics
AI
Seeding
Every source sees things differently
Every source makes stuff that is visually different
Volume is there without stretching anybody and compromising quality
I plan to keep scaling out our creative horizontally
Which means, more creative strategists / video editors graphic designers each responsible for a different thing
More agencies
More freelancers
More AI
If each source has a positive ROI I will do this indefinitely

If you use 3rd party tracking & analytics for your #Shopify store, I recommend you go to their terms page, CMD + F, and search for the term "training machine learning algorithms". You're literally paying them to give your competitors an advantage using your proprietary data.

@PascalZeMarshal 3rd party tracking is useless. Shopify analytics and Meta Ads has all you need if you use UTM params and have conversion API setup properly. Also these 3rd party trackers take your data and use it to help your competitors. Don’t believe me? Just read their ToS.

@JonKatz96 Ouch. I’d try running ads to a listicle or quiz so consumers fall in love with the product first and the price is an afterthought. And evergreen meaning ads you can run profitably year round. Not just seasonal events or campaign specific. I sent more info via DMs.
