I just finished watching Peter Obi’s interview, and I’m sick to my stomach. How did we let a man with the IQ of a fish contest for the highest office in Nigeria? If you must vote against Bola Tinubu, it should not be for Peter Obi.

Those attacking Rarara are missing the point. What Davido did at the World Cup stage was completely wrong. The World Cup is one of the biggest global events, watched by millions around the world, yet instead of promoting Nigeria’s strengths, culture, and achievements, he chose to highlight the country’s problems before an international audience. No patriotic citizen should be comfortable with exposing the nation’s weaknesses on such a massive platform. Criticizing problems at home is one thing, but presenting them to the world in a way that damages the country’s image is another. Nigeria deserves better representation than that. Rarara simply spoke his mind and defended the dignity of the nation. Rather than being insulted or attacked, he deserves credit for standing up for what many Nigerians believe. Speaking the truth should never be treated as a crime. A true patriot promotes the image of his country before the world while working to solve its challenges through the proper channels. That is why many people believe Davido was wrong and that Rarara’s response was justified.

@ChuksEricE Coming back home won't remove insecurity, I want to read a constructive plan of action on removing insecurity, this government doesn't have any idea of what to do, candidates aspiring to remove them should be telling us how to get the job done. 50% of our problems are insecurity.

Rufai Oseni: On security, our children and teachers are still in captivity, and a retired Major General recently di£d while being held hostage. What would you do if you were President? Mr. Peter Obi: If I am President today, it is either the terrørists are in charge of the country or I am in charge—one person must be in charge or we declare w@r on insecurity. Go and ask about my record when I was Governor. I confrønted insecurity head-on. Even notørious kidnappers like Evans and many others could not operate in Anambra and were forced to flee. If I am outside the country and there is a crisis at home, I will return immediately. I am ready to d!e for Nigeria. I lived abroad for years, yet I never considered obtaining a foreign passport. I have only one passport—the Nigerian passport.
CHUKS 🍥@ChuksEricE

Rufai Oseni: “You keep criticizing President Tinubu over the removal of fuel subsidy. What would you have done differently?” Mr Peter Obi: “I didn't criticize Tinubu for removing the subsidy. I said I would have removed it, but in an organized manner. I wouldn't have announced it at my inauguration. I would have first sat down with operators in the industry because we know there is a lot of crim!nality around the subsidy. I would remove it to determine the exact amount being spent on subsidy and also address the issue of exchange rate deregulation. But in doing these things, the most important thing is to fight corruption head-on. Since the subsidy was removed, what has been the impact on the average Nigerian? We have even borrowed more money than we used to when subsidy was still in place.” — NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

“Eight years ago, my life changed forever. I was shot several times in the face during the crisis in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon. The injuries were devastating, and there were moments when my future seemed uncertain. My face was severely damaged, my dreams were shaken, and my journey became one of unimaginable pain and countless challenges. Yet, through the infinite mercy of God, I survived. Every scar I carry is a testament not to my suffering, but to my survival. Every breath I take is proof that adversity does not have the final word. What was meant to destroy me became the very reason I discovered my strength. To everyone following my journey, I want you to remember this: Your circumstances do not define your destiny. Your scars do not diminish your worth. Your setbacks do not determine your future. There will be seasons when life tests your endurance, challenges your faith, and pushes you beyond what you thought you could bear. But within every human being lies a reservoir of strength greater than any obstacle. I stand before you today not as a victim, but as a survivor. Not as a symbol of tragedy, but as living evidence that courage can rise from pain, beauty can emerge from brokenness, and hope can flourish even in the midst of despair. If my story teaches anything, let it be this: Never surrender to hopelessness. Never underestimate the power of faith. Never allow your wounds to silence your purpose. I am still here. I am still standing. I am still dreaming. And by God’s grace, my best chapters are yet to be written. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than words can ever express. I am Median. I survived. I endured. I overcame. And I will continue to rise. ❤️🙏✨ Happy birthday to me 🎂🎂🍾🥂 ©The unstoppable lady

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.

At The Valiant Movement, we are on a mission to raise men and women whose character can be trusted long before their ambition is tested. One truth I keep returning to is this: a nation does not change because one person rises. It changes when the consciousness of its people rises. That is why The Valiant Movement exists—not to pursue offices or titles, but to build a living structure of courage, character, and accountability across our nation. To everyone who travelled from different parts of the country to be part of The Valiant Gathering 2026, I am deeply grateful. You are heroes. Words cannot adequately express how inspired I am by your sacrifice, commitment, and belief in a better Nigeria. But as we agreed, the real work begins now—in our communities, in our conversations, and in the daily choices that shape culture, influence lives, and ultimately build nations. Let us rise with courage, build with character, and serve with conviction. The future we seek will not be given to us. We must become the people capable of creating it. #ValentineOzigbo #TheValiantMovement #CourageToLead

Yesterday, I joined my brother, the Governor of Ebonyi State — His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru — alongside other progressives in Abakaliki to stand with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The time has come for us to unite. Enough of the politics of lamentations. Ndi Igbo, we must move from the alliance of protest to the alliance for progress — an alliance for prosperity. We must unite. We must not waste our votes again. Progressives are working together for a renewed and prosperous Nigeria.

There is nothing wrong with an Igbo man supporting a Yoruba or Hausa candidate for a position. However, the manner in which it is done is very important. Fayemi and Aregbesola are not supporting Tinubu, but you will never see them shouting every day that their people voting for Tinubu is a waste of votes. The same applies to the north: you will never hear anyone speak down on Atiku or declare that a vote for him is a waste. Your dislike for a brother has made you act below the expectations of a professor. Let me remind you that Tinubu is not a small boy. He will not abandon his loyalists and hand you the vice presidential slot in 2031. Tinubu would rather choose Mr. Ben Akabueze than you. When you finish hating your brother, we Ndigbo will remind you, whenever you aspire beyond any position beyond Anambra, that a vote for you is also a waste.

Primary School Dropout, Isaac Fayose, boasted on Social Media last year, shouting that he sued me for defamation. I responded by filling my own defamation suit against him. By himself, he went to court to withdraw his suit against me and the case was DISMISSED by the court. I didn't withdraw mine and I have been to the court to give evidence. Now, he has returned to the court to say that he was DECEIVED to withdraw the suit and that he wants to relist it. Who deceived him? Na me? As how nah? Sebi if Social Media Billionaire Isaac didn't run away from school that Baba Orilonise sent him, he will know that you don't go to court to withdraw a suit without proper discussions with all parties to the suit, and that it is properly documented settlement by the party that the court will enter as judgment. Go to school, Isaac Fayose refused. 😂😂😂😂😂

Dear beloved sports-loving Nigerian youths, After watching the performances of Davido, Burna Boy, and Rema at the opening of the 2026 World Cup—at a time when Nigeria, the giant of Africa, is absent—I felt a measure of consolation. This was reinforced by the fact that many Nigerians playing for clubs worldwide are representing other countries. Felix Nmecha, for instance, set a record by scoring the fastest goal at six minutes for Germany. I write to you therefore, knowing that this country belongs to you, the youth. You are more of stakeholders in Nigeria’s future than I am. I am 64 years old; by God’s grace, much of my journey is behind me, while yours lies ahead. It is therefore imperative that you rise to the challenge by obtaining your PVC, your most powerful tool for driving the change you desire. In the last three years alone, over 15 million Nigerians have turned 18—enough to decide who becomes President, Governor, Senator, Member of the House, or Local Government Chairman. Indeed, enough to shape the nation’s future. I know many of you are sceptical about politics and political parties. I understand why, but scepticism must not become surrender. You do not need to belong to any party or wait for anyone to organise you. Organise yourselves in your streets, campuses, communities, workplaces, churches, mosques, and social groups. Mobilise, debate, demand accountability, and take part in choosing those you wish to entrust with leadership. If you are organised and wish to hear directly from me, invite me. I will come and share my plans for you and our nation. Do not sit on the sidelines while others decide your future. I appeal to you to register and vote. Your vote can shape who becomes the next President of our country. My young friends, this is your country. Take it back. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
