@Tennesshero @trahana @GuntherEagleman I’ve also got a pinhole leak in my old Rheem system. I had an HVAC guy come out and he was able to add refrigerant, but it cost over $700 and he doesn’t know where the leak is. Same thing. Minimum $10k for a new system.

Dude. $100/lb for refrigerant that changes every 3 years is absurd.
I have an air condition right now that has a pinhole in the evaporator coil. My buddy is an A/C guy and he says the repair would be cheap, but he can’t get the coolant anymore for my system. So it means a $10k replacement.
Tell me how saving a few bucks every month on my utility bill is going to save me $10,000.

The Supreme Court gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, allowing states to now systematically dilute the power of Black and Brown voters through gerrymandering.
