@psomkar1 I started building fullstack projects so this has been a question of mine. I made an app with frontend first, then built the backend based on what the frontend needed. The other app I made, I made the backend first and made the frontend based off data the backend provided.

my 2025 wrap. i turned 20 today. generational run type year. still feels unreal. here's a 2024 + 2025 recap: > landed @meta before i turned 18. worked on @instagram's auth infra. > named a @DEShawGroup Latitude Fellow. 1 of 47 nationwide > landed @apple at 19. did ML in Cellular Engineering (WTE) cupertino > published ML research under my professor at @HowardU > taught myself swift overnight to build an iOS app for @hack_harvard and won the track > @NASA RockSat-C program. built a robotic arm for suturing in space. we had to test it under some of the most insane vibration conditions (genuinely one of the hardest things i’ve ever done) > contributed to a couple opensource repos > research w @NIH AIM-AHEAD > 2nd place at @nvidia agents for impact. built a layer on top of @meta ray-ban glasses for real-time voice first aid + cpr coaching. @baxate_carter loved it > touched 12+ states. red-eyes between sf, labs, hackathons, conferences, people, everything!!! > shipped products @tryspawnlabs @deepubuntu, and others doing upwards ~$20k in quarterly revenue > secured $50k+ in scholarships from @amazon, @tmcf_hbcu, @UNCF, @Boeing, @Chevron among others for academic excellence. > finally met a bunch of online friends irl @tedddyoweh @clintonimaro, @TomiTokko3 > spent a lot of time this year building and learning around physical intelligence, perception & manipulation, robotics, humanoids, embodied ai, egocentric data, and vlms 2026 goals. saying it out loud: > @ycombinator Spring 2026 > publish this paper on embodied ai & egocentric data for robots (thanks @eddybuild) > gym consistency > win some. lose some. keep going > tweet more lol i shipped a lot this year.. probably a little too much cause i noticed i need to spend more time with friends and family. got the best advice from @tundespeaks - gtfolh. if you told me this in 2022 i wouldn’t believe you. ngmi isn’t an option. back to work @letstrace merry christmas, everyone🎄

My 2025 wrapped ✨ 2025 changed me. This year, I didn’t just build apps. I built proof. – Built my dream workspace — something I imagined as a kid and finally made real – Built and launched multiple production-ready mobile apps across faith, fintech, lifestyle, creator, and marketplace ecosystems — several live on the App Store & Play Store – Worked on a national level app for @NOA_Nigeria – Took @Meno_App from idea to a fully launched App, helping people grow closer to Christ through daily reflection and consistency – Led end-to-end engineering on complex products architecture, backend, mobile, deployment, scaling, and long-term maintenance – Worked with founders and teams across different industries, turning vague ideas into real, scalable products – Went global through my work connected with builders, founders, and clients across countries and continents – Secured international clients purely through skill, delivery, and reputation – Hit financial milestones I had never reached before – Stepped deeper into my DevRel journey through writing, content, and sharing real engineering lessons from the trenches – made millions for the first time in my life – Stepped into leadership as a Mobile Lead, handling responsibilities people usually associate with senior engineers – Honed my skills in clean architecture, scalability, performance, and systems thinking – Built complex systems, not just “apps” – Started writing my own mobile development book, documenting real production lessons – Built my own programming language in Rust, just to go deeper and challenge myself – Learned faster by building more — because shipping teaches what tutorials never will – Stayed consistent in faith, discipline, and growth even under pressure – Got invited to judge one of the biggest hackathons in Africa, a moment that reminded me how far consistency can take you – Mentored and guided other developers navigating their journeys – Inspired a lot of people – Learned to value my time, price my work better, and set real boundaries And one of the most important parts of this year: Because of the work I did, I was able to support my family financially in ways I never could before. To help when it mattered. To show up not just with words, but with results. That part means more than any title. Somewhere along the way, people started calling me things I never announced myself. Youngest Flutter Developer Expert. Youngest professional mobile developer in Africa. I won’t argue with results but I’ll stay humble enough to keep learning. I’m still building. Still sharpening my craft. Still becoming. I look back at how far I’ve come, and sometimes it still feels unreal. The rooms I sit in now. The problems I solve. The people who trust my judgment. All of this… at an age most people are still figuring themselves out. People ask how old I am. I smile. I’m really young. Younger than you think. Younger than the expectations placed on me. 2025 laid the foundation. 2026 is for building even harder because this journey doesn’t stop. Grateful for how far I’ve come. Focused on what’s next. ✨

Worked in my guthub Readme and started doing leetcode challenges today. Nothing too hard, just dedicating time. It's all about diligence.

React Native has been a blast to learn. (I said that half-jokingly) Development has been smooth. I just want my own to-do list on my tablet. #React #Development #developers

Got into backend development a few months ago I personally sant to use node/Express js but my school group is using Flask. I like both frameworks so I'm progressing with both pretty easily. More projects on the way now that I'm on break!!

Just started learning to properly commit on my repos <type>[optional scope]:<description> [Optional Body] [Optional footer] This is way more structured and easy to follow than my usual vague commits. Kudos to me for learning this✨️

College's been tiring, but that hasn't stopped my learning. Just finished learning fundamental Django, and now moving to NodeJS I might have to use Node JS for my upcoming project. I'll post a bit more now

Wanted to learn backend with Django... Ended up Learning Python Fundamentals. Now I'm able to make simple GUI applications with PyQt5 Anyways, can you guys recommend a proper roadmap for Django? I've learnt a decent amount. I just don't understand "settings.py" much

Maybe you're not lazy. Maybe you don't take enough breaks, or when you do, you're still thinking about things outside your break. Maybe your brain and body forces you to take a break. So again... Maybe you're not lazy.

Okay. I need a proper backend guide rn. NodeJS or Django? I like the idea of using AI and ML in my web apps, but it's seeming like NodeJS is more popular industry wise. And React router???

What if I don't want to work under someone? Maybe if I build enough, I'll get paid for my own open source software
