The Nation will remember that you are lying sir. #justasking
N Chandrababu Naidu@ncbn
By blocking the Women’s Reservation Bill, the Congress-led opposition has denied India a historic step toward women’s empowerment. This is not just political obstruction, it is a betrayal of millions of women who deserve equal voice and rightful representation in Parliament. The nation will remember.

Gauri Lankesh was murdered under your watch @narendramodi.
You’ll one day cry without glycerin for all the crimes committed against women under your watch!

Listen to each word carefully and you would think this man is a Pakistani defence expert.
But the thing is he is Pravin Sawhney, an Indian who runs Force, a Defence magazine. Hope we aren’t divulging too many secrets to him @DefenceMinIndia

@zoo_bear In a video of 2:18 , do you know how many frames there are ?
If the video was shot at 24 frames per second (fps), you multiply the total seconds by the frame:
3,312 frames.
Out of that he selected this one frame.
Just wondering why he didn't select any other frame.?

A military conference to deliberate as how to hold “free and fair” elections in #Bengal
Unbelievable - Chiefs of BSF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP & CISF - all came together in #Kolkata to discuss one state ‘election’?
Is this #BengalElection2026 or Operation Sindoor? Or operation Bengal?

Here's a cartoon from the 1970s by the legendary R.K. Laxman:
Indira Gandhi "No, there is no threat to the nation, this is just to ensure fair elections in Bengals"
So please don’t be so surprised.
In Bengal, “free and fair” elections have long required overwhelming security forces - because the real threat has always been from those who refuse to accept the people’s verdict.

@shravanrayhaan Yes, ingratitude towards hypocrisy.

This is freaky. My father had a PhD from Humboldt University, Berlin. He was a hard core communist who wanted India to break up and balkanise. He woke up daily hoping for a Marxist Revolution that would take over India and eradicate all the capitalists while he was the largest landowner in our village. Hated Dalits. Hated Brahmins. Worked his Dalit orderlies like slaves and insulted their jati. Would delay salaries to servants and drivers and laugh at them when they would beg for their rightful dues. Hated Africans and dark skinned Indians while having almost black skin himself. Cursed Narendra Modi daily, saying Modi will never become PM. Changed that tune in 2014 to "Modi will never get reelected." Hated RSS, saying it was the backdoor for Brahmins to grab power. Tried to brainwash me into Marxism by forcing me to read books on Lenin. When he died, only 4 people attended his cremation - 2 RSS volunteers, my uncle who's an RSS worker, and my brother. (I was in NZ under a 3 year lockdown so couldn't attend.) Some days when I look at my life, I think it is a miracle that I'm not an urban naxal, Maoist, low IQ liberal or a drug addict. Ask any Malayali or Bengali who had communist parents and they will have a similar narrative.

English

This is unbelievable . @narendramodi & his regime has ordered an almost military scale mobilisation to win #Bengalassemblypolls . But nothing can stop the power of the people.
Vijaita Singh@vijaita
Chiefs of all CAPFs- BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP- converge in Kolkata and brainstorm on how to make elections “free, fair and transparent” in West Bengal. Don’t remember the last time such a meeting was held in any other State.
English

@MamataOfficial The emphasis is on 'why now¿' , why not earlier ? What were you waiting for?
Right ?

It is deeply unfortunate that the Prime Minister chose to mislead the nation rather than address it honestly.
Let me put this on record. Trinamool Congress has always championed higher political representation for women. We have the highest proportion of female elected representatives in both Parliament and the State Legislature. In the Lok Sabha, 37.9% of our elected members are women. In the Rajya Sabha, we have nominated 46% women members. The question of opposing Women's Reservation does not arise and never has.
What we are fundamentally opposed to is the Delimitation exercise that the Modi Government was plotting to push through by using women as a shield for its vested political agenda. What we are fundamentally opposed to is the altering of Babasaheb Ambedkar's Constitution, the division of this nation and the usurpation of power through gerrymandering, by redrawing political contours to hand greater representation to BJP-ruled states at the expense of others. This is an assault on federal democracy. And we will not watch it happen in silence.
If this government was genuinely serious about this noble cause, why did it wait nearly three years after the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill on September 28, 2023? Why rush it through when several states are in election? And why couple it with Delimitation? Trinamool Congress has stood for women for decades. We will continue to. But we will not be lectured on a subject that the ruling dispensation neither understands nor respects.
And Mr. Prime Minister, the next time you address the nation, have the courage to do so from the Floor of Parliament, where you are subject to scrutiny, challenge and accountability. What you did yesterday was cowardly, hypocritical and fork-tongued. You can feel power slipping through your fingers. And you are prepared to go to any extent to hold on for just a little while longer.
That is all this was.

@ShefVaidya Good strategy for extorting the money from big companies, Drink cow urine or otherwise pay us the amount we want from you!

English

True story. Last time, when I launched #NoBindiNoBusiness, the PR firm for a leading jewellery brand in Pune reached out to me, wanting to know why I was doing the campaign. They asked me if I wanted some money, some jewellery, what was it that I was looking for. I laughed in the Guys face. Not everything and everyone is up for sale! History is repeating itself with @Lenskart_com

If you love your country, you can disagree with leaders.
You can even oppose Narendra Modi.
That’s your right.
But the real question is,
what exactly are you choosing to stand with?
Take a recent example.
The Government of India includes V. Kamakoti in the Padma Shri list.
Why?
Because he led India’s first indigenous microprocessor initiative, Shakti.
Because he has contributed to national-level advisory roles.
Because under his ecosystem, 100+ startups have emerged.
This is the kind of work we keep talking about: self-reliance, deep tech, indigenous capability.
But instead of engaging with that contribution, what becomes the focus?
A past statement. His research over cow urine have medicinal properties, which is true BTW.
And suddenly, the conversation shifts to ridicule.
Indian National Congress responds not by debating science, not by questioning data, but by mocking, reducing the entire profile of a scientist to a single, convenient talking point.
And that’s where the discomfort begins.
You don’t have to agree with every statement he’s made, even if it is backed by research.
That’s fair.
But dismissing an entire body of work,
especially in science and innovation, just to score political points?
That raises a bigger question about priorities.
Because if scientists, researchers, and innovators become targets of political mockery, then what exactly are we incentivizing?
In the end, this isn’t just about one professor.
Or one party.
It’s about the standard we set for public discourse.
You can oppose policies.
You can challenge ideologies.
But if excellence itself becomes optional, then the problem is much bigger than politics.
