Andor is objectively a better piece of media in every way. That’s not to say I dislike Ahsoka; it’s mystical and fantastical which is exactly how I like my Star Wars. So I will not pick one, I will enjoy both 😎

It wasn’t meant to have a character. It was supposed to be a fun adventure. If you’re upset I don’t know what the fuck I can tell you calm down. I loved it. It was all it had to be. I paid for itself. I’m a die hard Star Wars fan but it took me 2+ weeks to get around to seeing Mandalorian and Grogu cause it looked so meh It fs was meh and I think this is genuinely the first movie I’ve ever seen where there’s not a single character arc… I’m open to being proven wrong tho 💀

@dangermonkey77 I've said the same thing about Solo, and so many other films that I enjoy that don't get a fair go at the box office.

A reminder that it has been reported that they already made $100M from brand sponsorship, meaning the real number is 390M, out of a total 412.5M needed to (theoretically) break even (with the 2.5x budget rule, even thought that is almost certainly an over-estimate).

It's been a year and some people still grossly misinterpret Bix's character journey. Her choice of becoming a mother, her choice of walking away from a fight that nearly took her life and DEFINITELY took much of her sanity, her choice of separating from Cassian for what SHE believes to be the greater good ... These are all remarkable acts of resistance, emancipation and consciousness. It's a million times better than killing her for shock value or making her sit out the year leading towards Rogue One on Yavin, but the internalised misogyny of some Star Wars fans has such deep roots, they believe every character who doesn't run around making her way through the galaxy with a lightsaber or blaster is immediately worthless.

@AHeartbreakSky This is what Ive been saying to people. Other disney+ shows ends in the classic "laser beam shoots out of sky rushed finale" but Andor has an entire finale episode that is pure comfort and closure for all these characters journeys we had been following

It’s funny- upon this rewatch, I expected S2e10 to hit me hard, but actually it was eps 11-12 that did bc it’s the first time the show has ever slowed down & let us & the characters sit in the grief they haven’t had time to process. There’s a haunting quiet, bc an era has ended.

Oh my god this awakened the realisation that, to me, these ARE the fandom’s very own Snyder fans. And in both cases, I’m really impressed with the cinematography and I get what they’re going for, but cannot remotely agree or get into what they’re doing.

Since everyone is sharing their Star Wars rankings again after watching The Mandalorian & Grogu, I figured that I would do the same! Honestly, the more I think about The Mandalorian & Grogu, the higher it gets on my list. Love all of these movies so much ❤️
