@xaeluh I was against it at first, but they're making you press 1 on repeat instead of 1/2/3 on repeat, and in turn adding actual skill expression, such as perfect counters and non-linear rotations where you have to pick what you do, as well as more positionals. Its more complicated now.

@DudeRacoon @rinonbanana I don't think it will be impossible yall can play gnb and war id imagine. The point is to make them into shield healer/regen healer alike, but all content can be done with double shield healer for example, arguably even comfier than 1 regen/1shield.

Many thoughts about this job design shift. Some good some bad; honestly the biggest holdouts were that WHM seemed utterly sauceless and that they LOOOVED just using Inner Release-alikes as a burst for every job. These situational skills are very cool, though

@rinonbanana Forcing tanks into positions is awful and is already causing grief with my static co-tank on what we are going to do as 2 off tank players that don't like PLD. BRD just became phys ranged SMN and WHM lost all of it's sauce and my static healer is on suicide watch.

I honestly have a hard time sympathizing with people that want gearing to be better in FFXIV cuz I think it usually involves wanting some diablo style loot with lots of randomized effects and that would turn me off on doing high end content so fast

@fresh_potatos @yukizuri_wp @ErynRico It's not me feeling nervous, dude. It's us going into a raidwide at half health because the parsing white mage isn't topping us off so my shields can do their job. So we do die and then the whm bails complaining that they're healing too much.

@fresh_potatos @yukizuri_wp @ErynRico I do use them as needed. It's also the pure healers job to top us off for damage that I'm already busy shielding for, like during weapons in m11s. We both need to do our jobs, not just one of us, and I can feel the difference with parsing healers.
