@ricnjun @zerohedge That's is Trumps play book. Same as the play book used with Gaza and NATO/Ukraine/Russia.
Remember last year Israel fired missiles into Doha and Trump didn't know. He don't know much.
English

@zerohedge Israel plays bad cop, Trump plays good cop.
One pushes the crisis upward, the other steps in to hit the brakes.
That is not a split — it is a division of labor:
Israel applies the pressure, Trump manages the fallout, reassures allies, and calms markets

@TFL1728 If the US can't secure the straight then a coalition makes little difference. All Iran has to do is make it an uncomfortable experience and the tanker crews will refuse to go.
The military could tow tankers without a crew on board. Once in safe waters the crew take over.
English

@MarioNawfal Very little difference a coalition would make anyway. Sitting ducks. Only takes one attack and the tanker crews will refuse to go.

🚨 Six major allies, UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Japan, have issued a joint statement expressing readiness to help secure the Strait of Hormuz.
This is progress from outright refusal. It is not a coalition.
"Readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts" is deliberately non-binding language. It commits no ships, no troops, no timeline, and no operational framework.
6 countries. 3 weeks. And a few words that mean nothing.

🚨🇮🇷 Iran has exported 16 million barrels of oil since the war began. Through the strait it basically closed. 90 ships got through; Iranian vessels, Chinese-affiliated ships, countries that negotiated directly with Tehran. The strait is in fact not closed... it's privatized, selectively operated, and generating revenue while the world calls it a blockade. Iran is the strait now. AP, The Independent

I’ve been in Singapore for a week now and the greatest threat to life and limb appears to be the locals. They’re constantly wandering into lampposts, trees, and automatic doors because they’re all staring at their phones.
You don’t get that in London. In London, if you walk down the street staring at your phone, someone will nick it.
Street crime has its upsides 😉😜

@goldseek The sovereign wealth funds hold stocks and treasuries. The funds value is over $2.5 trillion.

🚨 WOW! Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi just STUNNED the world, declaring only President Trump can achieve peace as he decimates the Iranian regime
"I firmly believe that it is only you, Donald, who can achieve peace across the world!"
"And to do so, I am ready to reach out to many of the partners in the international community to achieve our objective together!"
"So today, I came here at the White House to directly convey this message to you." 🔥

@MDXcrypto Do you have good missile interceptor coverage in that area?

@EricLDaugh Would it not have been more sensible to go after the bank accounts from yhe beginning rather than this war.
English

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent just revealed MAJOR DEFECTIONS are happening to the Iranian regime, and he's watching their bank accounts
"We're starting to see defections at Treasury. We now know where the Iranian leadership bank accounts are, and those are being frozen."
"And we will hold them and see who comes forward in terms of defections!" 🔥🔥
"We're back to the stuff of Baghdad Bob! The regime is in collapse, and the people are starting to turn against them!"
"We're starting to see defections throughout the regime, and that's how this ends."
"Kharg Island...if you're an oil worker, you don't want to work there. So all the oil workers that are being coerced to stay there, and we will see what happens with whether that eventually becomes a U.S. asset!" @RapidResponse47

@Osint613 Why is Iranian oil floating at sea? Some country must have purchased it. So the US seize the oil. Who collects and keeps the $14billion from the resale?
Don't hear much about the uranium enrichment.
English

VERY INTERESTING 🔴
The U.S. is considering temporarily allowing about 140 million barrels of Iranian oil already at sea to be sold instead of blocked, aiming to inject more supply into the market and bring down global oil prices at a time when war risks are pushing them higher. By letting this oil flow, prices drop, which means Iran earns less per barrel (or maybe not even paid) and takes a financial hit even as its own oil enters the market. The volume would cover roughly 10 to 14 days of global supply, providing short term price relief while broader military and economic pressure continues. The strategy is to use Iran’s own oil to drive prices down, weaken its revenue, and stabilize the market at the same time.

@RyanRozbiani They were protecting the petrodollar. But the wheels have come off. It is bad when they lift Russian sanctions and the deals all bypass the $. And if it is not resolved soon they they will face the outrage of the world.
English

BREAKING 🇺🇸🇮🇷: U.S. May Lift Sanctions on Iranian Oil
They want to make sure these 140 Million barrels of Oil dont all go to China. It seems this whole war, along with Venezeula, is just to cut the energy flow to weaken China.
He says this will hurt Iran, but whoever buys the oil, Iran still gets paid.
English

@SpencerHakimian I doubt they are dumping the gold. The sovereign wealth funds sre valued at trillion of $. They have significant stock and treasury holdings they can also sell.

@narendramodi Macron as a dear friend....says nothing much good about you.
English

Spoke with my dear friend, President Emmanuel Macron, on the situation in West Asia and the urgent need for de-escalation, as well as a return to dialogue and diplomacy.
We look forward to continuing our close coordination to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.
@EmmanuelMacron
English

@WatcherGuru So the war is no longer about nuclear facilities but about securing US oil?
English

@Its_ereko The supply and price with cause difficult times for everyone (especially the poor). Supply constraints could lead to a breakdown of the food supply chain including the pumping of fresh water to households.
English

🚨🇫🇷🇮🇷 BREAKING: Macron says war must stop. Because of energy markets.
Not because of dead children. Not because of bombed schools. Not because of 3.2 million displaced.
Because gas prices jumped 30%. Because Europe is freezing. Because the economy hurts.
Where was Macron when Israel bombed Tehran's fuel storage? Silent.
Where was Macron when 168 schoolgirls died in Minab? Silent.
Now the gas is expensive. Now he cares.
Macron's concern is not humanitarian. It's transactional. He doesn't want the war to end. He wants the price to drop.
Iranians died. Europeans pay. Macron speaks. Only when it hurts his wallet.
Stop the war? Yes. But stop it for the right reasons. Not just when it hits home.

@financialjuice Looks like the US is the leading terror state.
