LLM have no memory they need a brain. brains suck at math but good at identification you dont solve problems to remember things you identify them.

that makes me curious what exactly you think is happening in, say, some of the jack lindsey introspection experiments saying an LLM can't think therefore answers must be hallucinated feels like, idk. saying linux can't think therefore syslogs must be lies how does it get the correct answer then?

@Malzahar_1960 @marktenenholtz it dont take hours 3 types of A.I anyone should know. NLP,LLM,Agents NLP is the most basic but efficient version good for small straightforward task. LLM is the least efficient but is advanced. Agents are a Hybrid. they are the workers this is what most people want from LLMs.

@marktenenholtz I’ve tried to use ai to do things from packaging design to marketing and it’s just not good enough yet. I don’t have hours to burn to figure out what ai might be able to do for me.

Most of you never use LLMs for anything outside of chatting and code and it shows. We’ll look back on this time and laugh at how limited our perspectives were.

@joshblaster_ @rfleury @GrizzledTexan So the options are A: pay someone to check the AI code (so you still have to pay someone anyways) or B: ask an AI to check the code that it already wrote. If it made a mistake in the first place, it’s not super likely to find it when you ask it to check again.

@kazetherapper @NatCon2022 @800lbFollower Might want to look up blue-green algae. It’s highly toxic. The reason for the algae is that the last renovation, they changed the input source from city water to a nearby tidal basin in 2012. It’s looked like shit ever since.
