No matter how this Rivers State impeachment saga eventually ends, one thing is clear. The House of Assembly members are a different breed entirely. They have been unusually resolute, stubborn, unshaken, and seemingly without a price. You cannot convince me that the Governor didn’t make overtures to them at some point. This goes beyond funding or inducements. There is clearly a deeper score to settle with the Governor. For an entire House to remain this united and defiant for nearly three years?
