A Zombies mode was initially planned for Modern Warfare 2019 with one concept art. After severeal prototypes, it was scrapped in favor of Special Ops, the main factor being that Infinity Ward wanted to have a realistic and authentic grounded co-op mode. #ModernWarfare

@XavierNukes I'll hand it to IW tho when they got their design philosophy locked in they dig their heels in LMAO all the launch maps in MW19 were like Piccadilly where they were huge and porous. Not a huge fan of those types of maps at all as a big respawn player.

@OrionLupus @BobNetworkUK It was 25 longshots, for most weapons and was very rng because you could go most matches without even getting a longshot. Don’t fucking even bfo that shit was trauma inducing. One of the worst gameplay desigj decisions ever making that shit the way it was.
