@cerdalider Thanks for checking! Yes, it is. You can read the release notes here: wintercms.com/releases/v1.2.6 You can also always view the actual changes on both the main modules and the storm library from the release note if you have any concerns. 1.2.7 should be out soon.

@ophiel118 @leostera You can even do artisan create:model --all and it does migrations, model files, and controller files all at once 😉

@leostera Check @usewintercms - they say CMS but in reality it's laravel based CMF and with it you can go artisan create:model / create:controller and it will create empty migration, ready to fill yamls for form and list, model, controller, base configs and views files. I love it. #lazydev

Almost every Laravel admin panel or CMS interface looks like a Windows 98 application. Laravel Nova is the only exception. Why can't we have nice UIs?

@iszuddin Winter can perform great either as a CMS replacing WP with a much nicer user (and dev) experience, or as a CMF for Web applications built on Laravel. See #backend-only-mode" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">wintercms.com/docs/v1.2/docs… for instructions on using just the backend, an approach that I personally use a lot - Luke

And then WinterCMS becomes a Laravel boilerplate instead of a CMS. I like the Plugin Builder Plugin. But other tutorials are mostly about building a website. But still trying to figure out the best approach to doing that. Any pointers? @usewintercms

WinterCMS is a Laravel-based CMS, a fork from OctoberCMS. Looks interesting. At first glance, WinterCMS is not a CMS like WordPress or Wix. It seems to be more for developers. But I am still trying to understand this better. @usewintercms wintercms.com

Are you not afraid of the maintenance burden in the long run? I also build a complete custom - multitenant - CMS in #laravel, but finding myself rebuilding features that are widely available in W@pre#ss... It was an awesome ride to build, but once the amount of sites grew, my time became limited and team demanded more features, it became a liability.. With pain in my developer heart im about to move everything over to W@pres#ss.. 😢

The revamp of my blog is going great. It's still based on Laravel, the progress is steady, the code is way better, and it's still open source (checkout the develop branch). It'll soon be in even more people's Google search!
