This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.

@rough__sea the real shift might be from 'writing code' to 'reviewing code' - still need someone who deeply understands what good looks like to catch when the AI confidently produces elegant nonsense

I don't use Zed, Cursor, VsCode. I never have that many tabs open in my terminal either. My current setup: - Ghostty - Claude Code in tab one - NeoVim in tab two and other tabs are either used to run / execute code, or have long running local servers. The only subscription I pay for is Claude Code. You don't need more than this. You don't need to have multiple subscriptions. Stop getting fooled

@MelkeyDev I have a custom command that launches Claude code in a floating window. No tabs. Just buffers 😮‍💨🫰🏽.

Researchers have found two new vulnerabilities in React Server Components while attempting to exploit the patches last week. These are new issues, separate from the critical CVE last week. The patch for React2Shell remains effective for the Remote Code Execution exploit.

So you're saying that majority now use Shadcn for design in Laravel. But it means they all use *React*? What about devs who are back-enders and wanna use Tailwind without React/Vue? They go for Flux for design? Or Filament? Or still Bootstrap? Or are such devs extinct?

Since I came back to this country, every interview I have gone for, i get the question "Why did you decide to come back?" Even the top execs know there is no opportunity here.
