@CodeRed_dev 10 seconds. I got an idea, visualized the whole game in my mind and then just immediately abandoned it realizing what an effort it would be to actually make it, and how many projects I will not finish because of it 😅
English

@CodeRed_dev Probably seconds. I think about projects all the time that I have to remind myself that I will never have the time to even start on this, let alone get anywhere near completion. Complete hype to burnout cycle done in moments.
English

@CodeRed_dev I'd say a day as well. Mostly happens when I try to make a filler game during a much longer project's development and I soon realize this filler game is gonna turn into a year long project, lmao
English

@CodeRed_dev One time I drewout the project map and threw it away within five minutes.
English

@CodeRed_dev How much goes into it to call it a project? My answer could be seconds
English

@CodeRed_dev maybe you should spend more time doing planning and market study, and that sort of things before to rush into a project no ? :) would maybe improve the survival rate
English

@CodeRed_dev When Unity wouldn't start up and kept crashing I just gave up
English

@CodeRed_dev haven't abandoned any, just been putting it off for a lifetime
English

@CodeRed_dev To be honest, an hour back when I first started, I just couldn't do even the basic stuff and my second project I gave up in a month but I ended up going back to finish it sinch I have more experience now.
English

@CodeRed_dev I don't abandon them, I keep them for later ☝️🤓
English

@CodeRed_dev Hyped .. open unity... new project... loading.. loading... .. loaded .. close unity. Lolol
English

@CodeRed_dev Waiting to read that painful “three years”
English

@CodeRed_dev I don't abandon projects. I just take a break from them. 😅
English

@CodeRed_dev Sometimes the sight of an empty project can bring inspiration and sometimes it can bring despair.
English

@CodeRed_dev Took a couple of hours mocking up some tests on how something would work, loved it in the tests, hated the thought of polishing it to something usable, binned the idea xD
English

@CodeRed_dev "damn what an epic game idea"
realises it needs complex animation
"well it was good while it lasted"
English

@CodeRed_dev month and a half of learning the second time since then almost doubled this time around😏
English

@CodeRed_dev What counts as starting a project? If a thought counts then there could be just hours between "whoa that would be cool" to "that's garbage".
If tangible work is required then probably like 2 hours. Started coding things, then realized it's annoying to work on
English

@CodeRed_dev A few hours. Thought of something and then abandoned because it was technically infeasible
English

@CodeRed_dev Rookie time, my record is 15 minutes. Had an idea, opened up a new project and got distracted trying to write the first script.
English

@CodeRed_dev A week, then make a new project then rinse and repeat 😂, yeah I need help.
