@CodeWithAmann Adobe suite for most... games for others... one app keeping millions on Windows 💀
English

@CodeWithAmann Audio VST's if I am doing audio editing. But if I'm just doing video editing or image editing I am on linux 100% of the time. Davinci Resolve Studio ftw 🙂
English

@CodeWithAmann PowerBI ! But I switched anyways . Dual boots ftw.
English

@CodeWithAmann Of the last 4 laptops and my current desktop i switched to linux at once.
English

@CodeWithAmann Funny how at first it were games, but now it's not a problem anymore and I almost don't play games anymore. Now I need normal software support! Ableton and VSTs to be exact
English

@CodeWithAmann windows suck. if your using windows, just switch. if your a apple bro, I get the pain.
English

@CodeWithAmann Adobe suite, CAD, Visual Studio, Office Suite. Just like everything I do on a computer.
English

@CodeWithAmann I am actually analyzing that in the AM on one of my machines.. if nothing, out windows goes in done
English

@CodeWithAmann Many actually. But there are alternatives and yea, that's the price we pay for the freedom of software use! Live with Windows, it cost your privacy/security/freedom. Live with Linux, it cost your comfort of Windows Exclusive Software use. Yet, you can use them on Wine or VM!
English

@CodeWithAmann Ngl, Rufus. To install more distros. DaVinci Resolve is all good on CachyOS because they fix it and OBS Studio gets browser source too in their repos now. I'm fully on Linux so yeah....
English

@CodeWithAmann I don't know why, but my laptop is faster in windows
English

@CodeWithAmann Nothing, been Linux only since 2006. Started using Linux in 1996. Still awesome.
English

@CodeWithAmann All of them actually.
My servers are always Linux...but for computers, the driver headaches are too much with software and Linux.
English

@CodeWithAmann IDM, Adobe suite, WPS suite, MS Office suite, PowerBI, Anaconda, custom patched games, and almost anything. Only reason to use linux -- Waydroid, "log kya kahenge".
English

@CodeWithAmann It’s never one app, it’s an ecosystem. Your job& social circle run on proprietary suites with zero Linux support. Freedom feels great until it costs you money and connections. Walled gardens win when they pay the bills. Gets more complex with services.
English

@CodeWithAmann My main dealbreaker is AutoCAD. It’s the industry standard I can't live without, and combined with the lack of native support for SketchUp and many games, migrating to Linux just isn't practical for my workflow yet.
English

@CodeWithAmann Games, if gaming and drivers would be better on Linux allowing to play AAA games, no reason to use windows at all
