The way I look at @j_fishback running for Governor: it’s like going to an Italian restaurant, seeing tacos on the menu, paying for a taco, and ordering a taco. Then, when everyone gets their food, they hand you a lasagna and say, “Sorry, we’re an Italian restaurant. You can’t order tacos here.” At that point you’re left wondering, “Then why was it on the menu in the first place?” This isn’t really about whether someone likes Fishback or dislikes Fishback. The issue is whether candidates who do not meet the constitutional requirements should be presented as options to voters in the first place.
