Just woke up. I’m thinking about Path of Exile 2, it’s so close but so far. Based off what we’ve seen it has the potential to be the best ARPG of all time and setting a new bar for all future ARPGs.

@DatModz Totally hyped, what are you thinking for your first character?

@DatModz POE2 will be good and fun. But it's ok to have POE and D4 be for different types of players. Every game doesn't have to be everybody.

@DatModz Im a D4 content creator, played arpg since im young and played about 8k+ hours on poe, waited so long for POE2 and yep I will defo switch my focus on poe2 now as Im love creating new builds and the new poe2 looks so amazing :D

@DatModz I find it kind of funny that all the GGG drones in the chat bitched and moaned about D4 not being fast and frantic enough that they changed the whole game. But now that PoE 2 is looking slower and more dodge focused they're saying it's "genre defining and future focused".

@DatModz This 13 days are going to feel like 13 months ffs

@DatModz Pace is gonna be too slow, people will hate it, they will make it a light show just like the first game and we back to square one. Spazzing out and speeding running maps skipping 99.99% of the loot.

@DatModz I have played PoE since the closed beta and I gotta say, PoE2 has me hyped on a completely different level than any other game ever

@DatModz The problem I have is I only have casual dad hours to play but I have the inclination to play POE and want to learn that level of game.

@DatModz Never played path of exile. Do you need to play 1 before playing 2 or does it not matter?

@DatModz Been looking more at it the past day or 2, over a 6 month wait tho 🤔 but I will definitely give it a try for sure

@DatModz poe2 is genre-changing, d4 is just a rehash modernization of the same gameplay loop

@DatModz Imagine all that content from day 1 launch for a free to play game $0 box price. Now think of the $90 we paid for D4 and immediately start hating life choices.
