Voters in Kentucky rejected him 55-45 for his anti-Trump record, isolationism, and votes against Israel aid—not because American citizens exercised their First Amendment right to back a key ally. Massie's "Tel Aviv phone number" quip trafficked in antisemitic dual-loyalty tropes, which Frum correctly called out. Therefore, Glenn is having hard time understanding the concept that voters, not checks, decided. A well-deserved loss for Massie!

I love how MAGA people -- after spending decades whining about Geroge Soros' donations -- are now pretending that billionaire spending doesn't matter at all (these dumb billionaires keep pouring huge amounts into elections even though it has no impact). Voters just studiously examine everyone's record by reading the Congressional roll call votes and studying policy positions and then decide. They're completely unaffected by tens of millions in political ads poured into a single district where only 50,000 votes are needed to win.

Glenn, with all due respect, you are not saying the truth here. Trump endorsed and campaigned for Ed Gallrein, making it a clear America First loyalty test that voters decided in a low-turnout primary. Pro-Israel money amplified the message, but local sentiment and presidential backing prevailed. Unlike Soros buying progressive DAs in blue cities, here voters freely chose a stronger Trump-aligned candidate. Trump was the deciding factor not the money.
