@DevInTheLab bad comparison. Showmanship and cocky behavior is legit ENGRAINED in combat sports. Some of it is to do with woman not being seen as competitive people, but it’s mostly due to the very different cultures in the sports

@DevInTheLab Team sports have different etiquette. Taunting is part of boxing, MMA. I'm fine with the taunting in Bball as long as you can also punch their lights out w/o penalty too. If you disrespect, you have to pay the tax. In Boxing/MMA, if you taunt they are allowed to collect taxes.

@DevInTheLab Months of shit talking and prior history is way different than playing the victim as if Clark ever disrespected LSU. LSU wanted to act like Clark was talking bad on their name for stuff than happened against SC. They sought out the attention, this was actually personal for Izzy.

@DevInTheLab Probably a few reasons: - Different sport (UFC vs College Hoops) - Different context (individual vs team sport) - Number of eyes on the moment (don’t think UFC PPV pulled 9.9m eyes) - Gender? (Probably some legitimacy here, but definitely not the only contributing factor)

@DevInTheLab I’ve seen more people talking about how this caused an uproar than I’ve seen an actual uproar about it. There’s a vocal minority of people that got salty Iowa lost and took that out on Angel Reese, that’s it.
