@HumansNoContext Considering that plate was just ketchup and is a solid smooth surface, the vinegar rinsing over the plate from the ketchup cleaned it. In fact, ketchup is used for MANY cleaning purposes assuming the surface is not porous.

@HumansNoContext Plates have smooth surface, just a rinse and a wipe would be enough to clean fat. Meanwhile car mat have hairy surface, you need to scrub them properly otherwise you would leave debris and it can cause mold
