Another day another assistance failure where the drivers blaming me yet it’s @Se_Railway fault at Waterloo east for not being there @TransportForAll only recorded after over 9 minutes of being stuck relying on the good will of people to find staff

@Nathanro18 @Se_Railway @TransportForAll Simple answer. Get the safety critical guards back on the train and give them back the door control. Guards are trained to deploy ramps and would never leave a disabled passenger stranded.

@LoopingDaLoop @Nathanro18 @Se_Railway @TransportForAll Sadly not true. There's a lady on Instagram who has been left onboard a cross country, avanti and lnwr service who all operate with guards. If the assistance isn't ready they'll often still dispatch

@cfcbenyu @Nathanro18 @Se_Railway @TransportForAll That saddens me to hear. It has happened to me (as a guard) where a disabled man was on the wrong side of the tracks at an unstaffed station but I ensured Control were aware and that a taxi was organised before leaving, and the the man knew what was being done for him.
