@harryarthur84 @KirstieMAllsopp Better still, in my opinion, would be to stop Advance Fares and Super Off Peak altogether. Everybody should pay one, simple to understand, Standard or First fair fare, whether pre-booked or bought on the day, with a discount for Railcards and a supplement for Peak Time travel..

@LoopingDaLoop @KirstieMAllsopp One of the reasons trains down to Cornwall are very busy is because of the very limited number of them out of Paddington that are super off peak. They need to extend the times that a super off peak to Cornwall stations is valid.

The train I planned to get was canceled. Train before that cancelled too. Train I’m on didn’t leave as planned. “This train now has additional stops” then “This train is no longer stopping at Reading, please get off if Reading is your destination” then 5 mins later “This train

@MikeyCycling @GarethHarper1 Precisely why so many electric car models have 360 degree cameras, as well as in car vision, so your false accusations can be disproved.

@MikeyCycling @GarethHarper1 Again, every vehicle (including some bicycles) have blind spots which become worse in bad weather. In dismal conditions or falling rain, the use of dipped lights is not optional - it is mandatory. Cycling on the nearside of any vehicle indicating a left turn signal is madness

@LoopingDaLoop @GarethHarper1 If you can't see, as a driver, then you DON'T MANOUEVRE. That is a basic requirement of your driving licence. The highway code is clear that the driver must yield to cyclists before turning left, regardless of how long his indicator has been on.

@BobFromAccounts …waves as I passed. Fully agree - agressive use of the horn is provocative and can cause a nervous cyclist - or other road user - to have an accident as a result!

@BobFromAccounts I seldom use my horn at all. The only time I used it against cyclists was a quick “Bip” to alert a group that I was there. The rear rider was bobbing and weaving all over the road and it was clear that the whole group was oblivious to any danger. We exchanged friendly….

Not again. TWICE in one week I’ve been trapped on London transport. First the train. Tonight the Tube. Why is this still happening to disabled passengers in 2026?! Tonight’s was Bank to Waterloo. Completely unacceptable. @TfL @TfLAccess @LBC @RebeccaHenrys 🧑🏻‍🦽‍➡️❌🚇🚆

@MikeyCycling @GarethHarper1 Rubbish. The Highway Code says cyclists MAY pass slow traffic WITH CAUTION. If a left turn indicator is showing, cyclists MUST not pass. Read the opening statement of the Highway Code - “You take responsibility for your own safety.”

@MikeyCycling @GarethHarper1 Regardless of the situation? I think not. Wet weather? You think the driver has clear visibility in his nearside mirror? Try seeing a cyclist when the mirror is covered in rain drops or condensation. The car was indicating well in advance - the cyclist must yield.

@langoo @GarethHarper1 @FietserGlasgow @MikeyCycling Filtering is using the lanes effectively to make progress. Dividing a lane by passing on the nearside of vehicles is not filtering, it is undertaking and illegal unless there is a cycle lane provided. There’s a reason we call funeral directors undertakers!

@cfcbenyu @Nathanro18 @Se_Railway @TransportForAll That saddens me to hear. It has happened to me (as a guard) where a disabled man was on the wrong side of the tracks at an unstaffed station but I ensured Control were aware and that a taxi was organised before leaving, and the the man knew what was being done for him.

@LoopingDaLoop @Nathanro18 @Se_Railway @TransportForAll Sadly not true. There's a lady on Instagram who has been left onboard a cross country, avanti and lnwr service who all operate with guards. If the assistance isn't ready they'll often still dispatch

A man allegedly breaks a female officer's nose, only to be kicked and stomped on by responding police. Does the severity of the crime justify the officer's reaction, or did they cross a line? ⚖️👇

@frankie_crocker They are cars. The London Underground has always used American terminology. Drivers are Motormen, Carriages are Cars. Read up on its history!

Thousands of TfL managers earn six figure pay packets but can’t even put seats on Bakerloo and Jubilee Line carriages. And they’re carriages, not cars as some numpty now calls them. Passengers are unable to sit down for most of the day as idiotic managers have removed seats!

This car was apparently bored on the highway in traffic. I love that the car behind him gave him room to live his dreams. 😂 Sometimes you just need mental stimulation. I’ve wanted to do this so many times. I don’t think we are using our free will enough. 💯 Don’t you think we should let our impulsive thoughts win sometimes?

@ronsterd89 I certainly had to do it in 1977 because it was a real bugger to learn to do! I clouted the kerb many times while learning! Glad we didn’t have alloy wheels in those days!
