If you're a fan of the Original Trilogy only, yes. If you pay attention to what they're doing (merch, re-releases etc.) You'll see that Disney is in the midst of trying reestablish the original Star Wars for the next generation and build off the 50th Anniversary. Will it work? For general audiences, yes. For fans burned by Disney, no. For me? I'll buy ANH on 4k and the merch surrounding it. No need to burn myself because the internet is angry. The Disney films are trash, but the OG is still king.

@ScriptTrooper I don’t think so. It’s too far gone and society is so different since the original trilogy

@ScriptTrooper Star Wars is a symptom of a sick culture that will most likely never recover

@ScriptTrooper There are still enough fans of pre-Disney Star Wars that it can theoretically be saved However it will take A LOT of work by new people who want to take SW back to it's roots to fix it And not the current ideological hackneyed activists that ruined it in the first place Not:

@ScriptTrooper Probably not by Disney. I think most people have moved on. I have a little nostalgia but I don't get excited for Star Wars anymore.

@ScriptTrooper - Savable? Yes. — Just wipe out Disney canon and tell the Han-Luke-Leia stories you should’ve told from the beginning. - Can it fully come back to what it once was? Nope. — 12 years of treating your customers as adversaries erased that option long ago.

@ScriptTrooper I think with someone besides Disney. I feel it will languish, then eventually be sold someway and those people can wipe out Disney era and pray they can make it work.

@ScriptTrooper Nope. We lost our opportunity to make a good sequel trilogy. Time to move on and use our imaginations for something new.
