@TechOperator Nah. Tired of talking about it. He’ll figure it out eventually.
English

@TechOperator There isn’t really much to talk about when someone tries to make a comparison between a Camry and a Tesla
English

@TechOperator Tell him what? That there are examples to back up his claim? That an EV Dodge Charger costs 20k more than a base model ICE Charger? That it’s gonna take a long time for that EV upfront cost to balance out the cost of fuel?
English

@TechOperator My cars are exponentially cheaper than going and buying an EV.
English

@TechOperator This guy's an idiot. Cheaper doesn't mean better but they're not cheaper.
English

$1,700 for the last year and 26k miles. About 40% of it is supercharging, which we only do due to being reimbursed, so the true cost could be much lower. No tires, no service costs, nothing but riding while FSD drives. The other car we considered would have cost us at least $8,000 in fuel and maintenance by this point.
It isn’t even close.
English

Nah
Came home yesterday with FSD driving me through the center of the Adirondack Mountains
330 miles
Crazy efficiency and only one of those worrisome long charging stops of 5 minutes
I just hope they get down to 2 minutes so people won’t bitch
Cost was was less than half if calculated at the super charger rate but in realty I home charged when I left and when I arrived so cost was much lower
FSD drove all the way
Even if it cost me more I would use my Tesla over my gas cars
Talking to these people is like talking to your teenage daughter that the guy who she’s in love with is bad for her
English

@TechOperator He is correct since the average car is 13 years old and much less expensive.
English

@TechOperator Steve is right. I drive my cars for 20+ years. I'd never pay for a $10k (or whatever) replacement battery once or twice. Luxury.
English

@TechOperator I know a 1996 dodge neon for sale, 30mph, crank windows, still runs sometimes. It’s far cheaper than a 2026 cyber beast…. Pretty equal comparison right?
English

@TechOperator I’ll remember this when I pay for my $3 for a jug of wiper fluid vs the guaranteed $1k+ visits to Audi. Trust the Math.
English

@TechOperator poor man's Bentley. you can't be angry in it its too comfortable
English

@TechOperator He can feel free to check my channel out for many comparisons with alot of spreadsheets of EV ownership compared to ICE vehicles.
Its not even close unless you are comparing an old ass used Prius to a brand new EV over $30k
English

@TechOperator If you want cheap transportation and a new vehicle, go with the Chevy Bolt
English

@TechOperator Isn't gas like $5/gallon? They're spending as much just to drive as the monthly payment on a used 3.
English

@TechOperator Today all the cars are about the same price whether they are gas or EV. The EV is cheaper to operate.
English

@TechOperator I really dislike people who know nothing about Teslas yet have disdain for the vehicle.
English

@TechOperator It's kind of sad to think that I will never go to a gas station again. It was part of my life for over 50 years.
English

@TechOperator As I was just quoted $2200 for my Subaru for regular maintenance. Can't wait for my EV to be delivered.
English

@TechOperator People who have never owned an EV are always the most confident in their knowledge about them.
