It is important for children to get their biometrics updated in their #Aadhaar on attaining the age of 5 and 15 years. It includes updating their fingerprints, iris & photograph. This is called Mandatory Biometric Update. UIDAI along with authorities from states are conducting #MBU camps in schools across various states.

@UIDAI Will you point out that Aadhaar registration is being done at an illegal and unauthorized location? Bank, wcd, Education and Sports Aadhar, dc kits are running everywhere. Who will control its misuse?

@UIDAI Questions: Who will take responsibility if my child loses a year due to Aadhaar DOB not being updated? Why does UIDAI not provide accessible & corruption-free centers for such essential services? What is the alternative method when centers are not available ?

@UIDAI No Aadhaar Seva Kendra within 90–100 km of my location. Local CSC/Bank/Post Office operators demand ₹500–1000 unofficially or ask to visit only once a month, with 1 km long queues. Because of this failure in UIDAI’s process, my daughter risks losing an academic year.
