I didn’t realize at first, but it turns out I’m not just restricted from League, Valorant, and TFT.. I’m also locked out of Wild Rift, 2XKO, and Riot-affiliated tournaments as well. In the meantime, I’m looking for solid game recommendations to stream. Ideally something competitive and skill-based, not just relying on coaching content the whole time. If anyone has suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

@randomrecruiter Unpopular as it sounds, if employees say enough is enough and walk out, nearly every large company would be toast. You can't automate workers overnight, but you can treat people like they aren't numbers on a spreadsheet. "It can't happen to me"

I just heard of multiple companies letting go of employees for coffee badging. They have a requirement for 3 days onsite per week, or 24 hours. Some of these people have been going in and immediately going back home, leaving after lunch, or a little early at 3 or 4. In two cases I heard of the manager approving this, and even doing it themselves. But I guess from a higher level, they dont care, adn they were all let go. If your company has hard RTO mandates, especially if you’re in a more “traditional” industry like banking and financial services, I’d think twice about coffee badging in this environment.

I’m not arguing the processed garbage in the US isn’t killing us - because it is absolutely doing so. But I’m betting a good amount of the weight loss is because you were probably getting 15,000+ steps per day walking around towns. If people did that here, most would lose weight as well - even on a crappy American diet.

I used to think the social media videos I saw about the food in other countries were BS, until I went to Italy for a week. One full week of eating pasta, pizza, steak and gelato…I came home down 7lbs. We are being poisoned. It really is that simple.

@miles_commodore The Last movie we saw at a theater was "Call of the Wild" in march of 2020. Covid came about that time. Nothing worth seeing since then except for the Maveric movie. Saw it at home.

I used to love movies, I’ll watch my favorites over and over again. I can’t believe how bad the movies today are. It really is amazing to me.
