@EDSecMcMahon You should see the administrative costs of k-12. The rise more than quadruples the raises a teacher has received over the past 20 years.

Why? Because colleges and universities can charge unlimited tuition on the taxpayer’s dime. Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, this reckless spending policy is coming to an end.

Florida is so walkable that it's a 46-minute walk to cross a single street to the train station in Aventura.

@MDSmalls23 People see them play with so little heart or intensity in games 3 and 4, making it clear that this will be another short-lived playoff run. Hard to get excited and support a team with this much firepower that has to struggle through the first round.

That would cost Walmart domestically $12B a year. Last year they netted $22B in end of the line profit. Walmart employees are also Walmart customers. Most of that $12B would be spent back at Walmart. They’d also save billions in turnover costs. They’d be just fine.

I don’t think wealth taxes are a good idea in practice, and they’re definitely dumb at the state level.

@Ecnerwal23 the ball was on the line! and Machado yanks the ball into foul territory just to emphasize the fact that it was fair when he grabbed it. It was like a catcher grabbing a ball outside the strike zone and yanking it back to the middle of the zone.
