After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

If you have one Jewish grandparent, you can move to Israel tomorrow and a get an Israeli passport within months. If you were born in Palestine, violently expelled from there, you will never be allowed to return, because you are Palestinian. If you openly endorse Israel’s immigration policy, you are openly endorsing racism & forcible displacement. It’s obviously legal in the US to do this, just prepare to get protested. If you don’t want protests, don’t endorse racism and ethnic cleansing. Not so complicated after all!

Ahead of the vote, Netanyahu reiterated that Israel will never allow a Palestinian state. The UN Security Council could have used this vote to rebuke him and affirm the international consensus supporting Palestinian self-determination. Instead, the UNSC placated Israel. Russia had circulated a draft with clear language supporting a Palestinian state. But Russia and China instead bowed to meaningless US-authored language that, perhaps sometime in the future, conditions “may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood.” Displaced, besieged, suffering Palestinians offer nothing to people in power. Therefore their rights are constantly ignored.

Just think about how sick that logic is - letting Palestinians receive healthcare is treated as a threat.
