the latest version of claude code being extremely laggy on windows is almost enough for me to go back to codex

Feeling like a Friday night of back to basics: claude code off, some music on and handwriting some buggy code 💜

@donvito Claude Code nailed the audit + fixes loop: prioritized UX debt, suggested measurable A/B tests, and outputted concrete CSS + HTML snippets. Real improvement, not vague design theory.

By the way, after struggling with Google Docs and word for awhile, I just had Claude Code make a little web app that accepts her paper in standard markdown and generates a properly formatted PDF. Writers should focus on what they write, not on getting a word processor to present it right.

@phenrysay Same experience here. I’ve been doing something similar with @zencoderai using my Claude API key, and having that kind of automation directly tied into PR workflows really cuts down the pointless back-and-forth. Feels like how code reviews should work now.

Few weeks ago, I started using GitHub Claude Code Action, using Claude mentions in PR comments. It saved me so much time and superfluous context switching by automating the repetitive review tasks, implementing fixes, updating docs, … and significantly improved my productivity!

@Hey_builds @brianshinsh This is so real. The grind behind the scenes never gets enough credit. Restarting the session or switching models has saved me too when I’m stuck sometimes a fresh run is all it takes.

Hey
Hey@Hey_builds·
@brianshinsh I definitely know how that feels. When I get stuck for more than 2 hrs. I'll restart my session and let Claude code try again from scratch. If it still doesnt work, I try another model gpt5. If all fails, reset git back to the moment it worked before the change

Literally spent the last 35 hours fixing a minor bug. - started fixing the problem at 11am - worked until 4am - woke up at 9am - locked in until 2pm (20min lunch) - locked in again until now, 3am - finally fixed On social media all you see is people making millions of MRR within days but these are the moments you don't see. If this was you today, keep going. These are the moments that define you.

The app is a habit tracker. It took me 1.5 months to build. I used XCode + Cursor + Claude code to make it. I had no knowledge of Swift, and so it's mostly vibe-coded. I'm now learning to code properly, as I've seen some success.

My app is at $592MRR, after 2 months. (Verified metrics on my profile) Here's what I did to get there.

Real world use cases, Claude Sonnet still smokes everything. I’ve pushed Gemini cli pretty hard and it’s just not as good as Claude Code “yet” for most things. Maybe they’re still tweaking it. Just the MCP connectors alone to basically autopilot your computer while you sleep are so easy to use that even my wife is having Claude code do her work while she goes shopping. That said, Gemini Nano Pro is absolutely mind blowing at image creation. The 4k outputs are absolutely bananas, especially for 3D animation. Definitely going to disrupt a lot of the entertainment and book industry. RandomHouse is toast for example. Pixar probably cooked too

@wieslawsoltes Gemini 3 Pro is persistent, but Claude Code still feels more reliable for structured tasks. Depends on your workflow.

People need to begin to understand that a model is one thing. But the environment that model is operated within, matters more. Claude code, is so above codex, in so many ways. Codex cli, they still haven’t even got plan mode? So yeah, chatgpt 5.1 may score better on benchmarks, but it means nothing in daily operations, using it.
Shayan@ImSh4yy

Anthropic has very much regressed in the last few months. Their web app is quite sluggish and latency is very high. You can't do basic things like changing the model mid-conversation. It takes a good while to get Sonnet or Opus to respond. Claude Code is also very fucked with the recent limit changes. Not great overall.

@imnotnaman @BlinksyClips @Delmo_dev @whop Yeah exactly with Claude Code or even IDE Extentions like @zencoderai in the middle to manage your workflow, you can literally build step-by-step without knowing how to code. The learning kind of happens automatically while you ship stuff.

how people do everything these days... ask ai seriously, make an account on cursor or claude code and just ask it to do things for you step by step and over time you will learn feel free to dm me if you want to chat more, I was in ur shoes a year ago (didn't know how to code but had ideas) and ai helped tremendously

we have a problem. this is the amount of creators visiting the @whop B2B app store wanting to install an app. however, there are only 14 apps. 14 solo devs taking all the pie. if you build a whop app, you'll obtain instant distribution. virtually 0 need for marketing.

Hey @AnthropicAI, would it be an idea to extend the Claude Code Web credits, since most of the time it’s either not working, extremely slow, or completely crashes? LFG!

@OnlyXuanwo @criccomini @flaneur2023 Wild how fast things shifted year ago we were stitching tools together, now Claude Code can draft RFCs and Codex can rewrite whole components from scratch. The pace is unreal.

Struggled all weekend with a bunch of defunct light-weight HTTP chaos testing reverse proxies. Ended up having Codex write it from scratch using mikkmokk as a reference. Using it to test SlateDB; works great. Little tiny Rust binary and Docker image. AI is getting scary good.
