Not the news I was expecting when I woke up. Everything I worked for over the last 3 years gone. Warehouse engulfed in flames last night. Only thing left standing was the framing. I feel like I’m just constantly taking massive Ls recently. Doing my best to keep it together honestly. So hard to stay positive..

Saul Talks is coming back. Series where I talk about what I’ve learned running businesses over the last decade. From raising capital, to selling tens of millions in product, launching software, managing teams, quitting my job, balancing time with my wife and son, running multiple businesses, hitting walls mentally and physically, paid media, coaching, AI, etc. If you have a topic or question in mind please let me know and I’m happy to answer it as thoroughly as I can.

CHICAGO BASED FUNNY WATER SECURES $1.6M FUNNY WATER, an alcohol infused zero carbonation water beverage has filed a form D with the SEC disclosing a $1.6m fundraise. The brand was started in 2024 as a 'new way to "drink better" meeting the growing demand for a functional hard water alcohol with the lowest calorie offering as a RTD without compromising taste or performance.'

Meta crashed our ROAS yesterday due to a site wide outage. 57 containers of our latest shipment were lost at sea when they went overboard during a storm. Happy Tuesday to my fellow D2C operators.

Everything is still looking on track. Over the last 30 days we did $312K, and things are consolidating right now as we wait for the next wave of inventory to check in. Projections: - March: $400K - April: $600K - May: $800K Once inventory starts checking in, we should be seeing $14K days toward the end of this month, then $19K+ days by middle of next month, and eventually $26K days by the end of April as the rest of the inventory gets received or bought. (Currently sitting on 200k we need to get into inventory) Just updating my projection post since everyone just got a course to sell.👨‍🔬🧪

Usually weekends are slower for us. Still expecting a 400k march, and expecting a 600k April.💃🤺 At what point should I start selling a course?🤨

Trying to deploy it as fast as possible, hopefully by mid April all of it is in inventory, we just got this by negotiating term with our supplier, so it’s not really cash but more buying power. (I would say it the same🤷‍♂️) But any ways If we do fall short of our goal the main reason would been not being able to deploy it fast enough, but I am pretty confident within the next few weeks it be gone. I see plenty of opportunities with our current supplier Right now our DSCR is 1, so I am hoping to get it to 3 when I hit 800k. From there I probably gonna focus more on maintaining sales then growing but who knows🤷‍♂️

Amazon makes their devs work on a new UI 10 times a year as busy work which makes the platform WORSE, instead of allocating resources to flag obvious fraud. It would take less than 30 minutes to implement a solution for this type of abuse. Incredible priorities…

This fraud scammer has now order 25 times across two accounts and received replacements for every order Unreal. Get a fucking job Reported as abuse several times but still continues...

Is the One Box method for FBA shipment legacy tech? It's where you only work out of one box per shipment, max out to 49lbs then fully close out that shipment with FC and UPS labels to move onto the next. I've never had a need for 3rd party shipment software cuz of this

@TonyGainzzz There’s nothing on the market that works well with OA Better off putting together a filtering system using ai that includes your inventory levels, recent buy sheet, and your sales data then it’ll spit out a list of replen candidates and have a VA go thru that list it manually

To the guys doing 100K months, what’s a great software you use to Restock properly ? Something that’s super easy to use and gives you the data you need to restock properly? Any tips are appreciated 🙏

Durability in business is one of the most underrated skills you can develop. Everyone talks about strategy, tools, capital, and margins. But the real separator is whether you can absorb punches and keep moving forward. The past few weeks have been a perfect example of that. • $2k in product suddenly goes stranded • Mid four figures in inventory gets cooked by buy box suppression • Ungating battles dragging on (convinced its impossible rn) • Team members making mistakes or not executing how they should On paper, that looks like a rough stretch. And in the moment, it absolutely feels like one. But this is the reality of operating a real business. Problems don’t show up one at a time but stack in waves stack. Logistics issues, marketplace issues, team issues, capital constraints, operational mistakes. All happening simultaneously while you’re still expected to perform. The key is durability. Not panicking when something breaks. Not spiraling when numbers dip for a few days. Not letting frustration turn into inaction. Not letting EMOTION get the best of you. Just solving the next problem in front of you and continuing to move the machine forward. Ironically, despite all of that noise, we’re still pacing toward our best non-Q4 month ever -> Because durability compounds. If you stay in the game long enough, keep solving problems, and keep showing up every day, the momentum eventually works in your favor and you PUT YOURSELF IN A SPOT TO GET LUCKY.

I'm at the point where I refuse to j1g purchases If I have to change my name to Fredick Douglass for my orders to go through I'll just find someone else to buy from. Cuz who's about to explain to Amazon how Mr. Douglass is my best employee I choose peace

@FBA_Chris @FlippinwithJon @CookingCashflow Learn the lesson and begin pivoting into a new model (brand registry only, adtl marketplaces, adtl Amz regions, wholesale B2B, Shopify etc) If you end up stuck with it, I might be able to find a buyer for you! Sorry this happened, but srsly, learn the lesson and pivot!

Nothing like Amazon gating your most popular and best-selling brand because they feel like it… 2 weeks to sell through all inventory. This is why people move off the platform.
