NEW ATLANTA FALCONS UNIFORMS INITIAL REVIEW! 🚨
Team reps told me Monday they wanted a “clean, timeless” look, I think they achieved it:
- Red is a strong, strong hero
- Unique font looks sharp, has an appropriate “angle of attack”
- Love their commitment to making the reflective silver a small part
- Pants stripes!
- Didn’t throw too much on to these, not clunky, very organized & allows all elements to breathe on their own

On March 4, the Falcons invited me to a Q&A w/ a small group of select local media on March 30 🚨 The goal? To see the entire uniform closet before & ask ANYTHING I asked maybe too many questions lol, so I’m sharing all the answers on here, TikTok & YouTube (included some below)👇 I’m still beyond thankful & excited to have been invited, stay tuned for much more! @TalkNats Huh? Making the WS doesn't have an impact on regular season attendance PRIOR to that. A bump in attendance comes the season AFTER a postseason run. They didn't even make the playoffs the previous year, lost Bryce Harper in the offseason, and started out the season 19-31.

@4o4FinalBoss @stiz23 You're reaching there. Looking at the uni as a whole, the logo on the sleeve is good enough. It's a slick look and adding stripes for the sake of it is pointless.

@stiz23 It’s because the color red is so strong and bright, it really requires some sort of offsetting feature. Something as subtle as white and black stripes across the sleeves is all it takes to balance out all that red. The black n white jerseys don’t need it

@ZachCohenFB Yeah, all the classic jerseys eventually moved the numbers to the shoulders to maintain the distinct look of the stripes.

This is a great point about the challenges teams face when designing new jerseys
Players have different sleeve lengths between them, which is already different from sleeve lengths of retail jerseys
Putting too much on the sleeve adds risk of each jersey looking different, even if the designs looks fantastic on the base jersey

modern fitting jerseys definitely make it hard to fit stripes and numbers on the shoulder. I think that plays a factor in the Panthers needing a redesign. then you have the chargers and rams who put their shoulder design halfway into the sleeve and left way to much negative space and would much benefit from a shoulder number 😂😂

It all ties in to military history. The spear was a weapon used in militaries around the world throughout history. It is a symbol that's used in the military to this day.

@DavidDCFootball We dont want random ugly colors we want really nice wearable uniforms. The Angels might have the best ones and theyre the team colors. Same with the white sox.

Wonder if the #Phillies will follow the three-year option with City Connect jerseys and debut a new one next year. The franchise could retire the current City Connect design after the 2026 season — or opt to retain it.
