I’m going to start a stock photo company that only allows medically accurate images that align with medical advice. No more babies sleeping in cribs with hazards all around, no more giant needles depicting “vaccines”. Who’s with me??

@AlokPatelMD Ha. We got a breakfast burrito. Which they put in the lounge at 6am so they were all eaten by the anesthesiologists and surgeons by the time our residents or hospitalists could get there 😂

This is incredibly disappointing. I would invite any one of these officials to visit our hospital, or any other serving these unprecedented numbers of sick and criticallly ill children with not enough beds or staff to care for them. thehill.com/policy/healthc…

@cacor1968 @choo_ek Can work for some kids/weights! Much more difficult for infants who need smaller doses. Not all meds can be crushed, make sure to check w a pharmacist. And should point out that kids under 12 months can’t have honey.

@EMeadeMD @choo_ek My pharmacist gave me a printout from the internet of instructions for dividing adult tablets of #acetominophen to get an appropriate dose for a child of any particular weight. Simple. Crush and mix with something sweet, like honey or jam.

@choo_ek In >15 years in Peds I’ve never seen anything like it (maybe H1N1 in 2009, but it was widespread across ages). I am so grateful for our adult hosp/ICU partners, ED colleagues, administrators working to help but we are short of docs, nurses, and beds.
