@nonuple9 @PolarSodaCan Production vs replication. Then there is how much somebody sees those intertwined. Then they weigh the harm vs the remedy. Law weighs harm heavy & intertwined. Many west/pirates see those separate & no harm. Remedy is buying the game if possible & enjoyed outweighs harm by far.

Quartering just purged all of the negative comments on his new video and changed the title twice. Also the last couple days 99% of his comments were negative but suddenly this video has a bunch of comments about the video that look AI 🤔 crazy he had ten comments within 30 seconds that were about the video and what he was talking about. His “viewers” must be psychic. The likes also look fake as hell. Who gets a 25% viewer to like ratio ESPECIALLY after a controversy. He has admitted to buying views through “promotion” before and he had one day a couple days ago where subs went up 10k only for one day when he is having his lowest viewed video days ever. Then suddenly subs stop? Who doesn’t get a single sub for 2 weeks then suddenly get 10k when people are mass unsubbing during this specific time? MAKES YOU THINK

@bad_tits Flake was given 100% of the youtube revenue to support his family in exchange for creating the edited version of the show & promoing on youtube. It was around $120k a year, so while I am sure they will do more, they already discussed a couple things,that is quite a lot to match.

Youtube seems to believe it is ran by/for banned Andy Warski & is a form of ban evasion. I believe Ireland has some intense data comptroller laws where you can request why some action happened.

@Scratch_Point_Z Blame Nintendo of America & 4kids entertainment for ruining generations of translators by telling them to scrub up that dirty unacceptable Japanese culture & replace it with whatever helicopter moms approve. Now they think it is their job to put their fanfiction into everything.

"Top-tier localization" is apparently changing character personalities, needlessly "punching up" dialogue, & avoiding using "Merry Christmas" even when it can be heard in the Japanese audio; which is exactly why it needs to be handled by translators willing to do the job faithfully.

@punk_7890 @PaquitoDDD That script was a 1-1 of the algorithm used in the game. Trails through Daybreak II (PH3) has the checksum offset 4 bytes earlier in the file and hardcoded the uncompressed filesizes, at least for save files, but you can still use the length after the checksum.

@PaquitoDDD I think I used this Python script to re-calculate the CRC after hex editing it: drive.google.com/file/d/114W2kP… Make your edits, then drag and drop it onto the script. You'll need Python installed.

Hey there @punk_7890, I've been trying to get into the CS4 test maps you've documented on your TCRF page. I thought the method would be the same as in CS3, but the game just shows a "corrupted save file" line. What would be the right way to do it in this game? Thanks in advance!
