#FauxPhilosophyFriday #FPF At my small account size, it's easy to see everyone I follow. It's easy to see exactly how many of you follow me. When I lose a follower, it makes me wonder, "Why?" and also, "Will it get 'easier' as I grow? Will I start to lose track of my community?"

I'm starting V2 of the π0.5 SO-100 finetune using learnings from the first run. In my post mortem I discovered 2 key issues; a second joint angle convention created inconsistencies and action preprocessing didn't line up with the π0.5 format. After several days of systematically eliminating all failure causes from control code to sim physics I have confidently traced both failures and will carry these learnings into V2. I'll use these as scale up verification points. V2 will release faster now that the simulator and control code are verified. Soon anyone will be able to run a truly general model on just $100 of hardware

@ModThislater @seeedstudio Pretty great price for this size qdd arm with this kind of capacity. I was looking at buying these a year ago for 12,000 dollars with a lower capacity. This is as good as it gets, imo.

@CEMKAYA2704 @seeedstudio Different tools for different jobs. So100 is 100 dollars. So101 is a little more. These are 1,000 each and qdd. Not meant to be a replacement. Much higher ceiling, for sure.

Been talking about this for years. Just don't get it. Look at how we protect just about everything else we ship. Put it where it's safest. Wrap it individually.

Seats on airplanes should be on rails. The back is by far the safest in a crash. Why don't seats pull everyone to the back and stack them flat like sardines and snap safety capsules over them individually in anticipation of a crash. It's how we pack and protect everything else.

As hard as I try, I just can't see it how most people do. It's part of being a dreamer. I tend to think things will happen so much faster than they do but what I believe in most also tends to happen. Still unsure exactly what to do with that.

3rd robotics dream... When I was focused on production I used to wake up with tracks ready to be laid down. Can't wait for that with robotics.
