Iranian authorities have cut off Iranians from the outside world since 28 February, preventing people from accessing essential information and contacting loved ones. Internet shutdowns are a human rights issue. Authorities must immediately restore internet access.

Mrs. Rajavi, while welcoming the ceasefire, expressed hope that it would lead to the end of the war and pave the way for peace and freedom Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran for the period to transfer sovereignty to the people of Iran, welcomed the ceasefire, particularly the halt to attacks on infrastructure and civilian facilities, and stated that this was the most appropriate decision at the most sensitive moment by the United States. She underscored that the slogan of the Resistance and the provisional government has always been, and continues to be, peace and freedom. Mrs. Rajavi expressed hope that the 15-day ceasefire, contrary to what the remnants of the mullahs and the Shah seek, will lead to the end of the war and pave the way for peace and freedom. Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that lasting peace, as the Iranian Resistance has stressed for the past 45 years, can only be achieved through the overthrow of the terrorist and warmongering dictatorship of the absolute clerical rule (Velayat-e-Faqih) by the Iranian people and the organized resistance, and the establishment of a democratic republic. Mrs. Rajavi added: The stopping of executions in Iran, as a demand of all the people of Iran, should be included in any international agreement.

From the very first days when the regime’s sham courts began sentencing PMOI and other dissident prisoners to death, we consistently exposed these unjust rulings on the international stage. I repeatedly displayed the photographs of prisoners sentenced to death and warned that their lives were in danger. 🚨 #Breaking Iran News Iran’s Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence of political prisoner Mansour Jamali, 55, held in Choobindar Prison (Qazvin), on charges of membership in the PMOI Arrested in October 2023 in Buin Zahra, he was denied access to a lawyer and sentenced for “enmity against God” by a Revolutionary Court. He now faces imminent execution. Four PMOI member were sent to the gallows in the last two days, with several others awaiting their executions.

In the past day, Iran’s regime has executed four PMOI supporters: Babak Alipour, Pouya Ghobadi, Mohammad Taghavi, and Akbar Daneshvarkar. They were among a group of 18 PMOI members sentenced to death by the regime. The fight for Iran’s freedom endures. @USAmbUN @USUN @SecRubio @StateDept
