Imagine where we could be as a country if we weren't constantly fixing self-inflicted problems of our own creation. This has nothing to do with what side of the aisle you're on, the color of your skin, your sexual preferences, or your gender. If we could just enforce the law and hold those accountable for the greed that's destroying our nation. Think of all the good that could have been accomplished instead of wasting time patching up messes we've made ourselves.

The formula for happiness? Don't let these things control your life. Break free from those addictions, and you'll find purity of heart. True happiness comes from adoring God and letting His mercy flow through you to others in the world. When we elevate something less than God, even a relationship, above Him, we become addicts, enslaved to a false god, desperately trying to fill a bottomless pit with fleeting pleasure. The real answer lies in seeking salvation, because true purpose can't be found in instant gratification.

I do understand what Madison wrote and I agree with the principle of a "wall of separation" between church and state—it's crucial for protecting individual freedoms. I don't support Governor Abbott's promotion or partnership with these chapters, as it injects government into schools and risks pushing specific ideologies, which contradicts that separation. That said, schools shouldn't be able to block the chapters as a political strategy either. If they'd fostered a truly free marketplace of ideas from the start, there'd be no need for state intervention to "safeguard" freedoms. Blocking them now just smells like partisan politics and undermines the idea that Christianity can flourish on its own without government backing. Hopefully, we can skip the state stepping in altogether, keep the separation intact, and ensure young Americans have diverse truths to make their own choices.

If you've been following, you know about my quest to learn about Jesus. We realized we didn't have a Bible and today it arrived. Thankfully, it did not spontaneously combust when I touched it - so we've got that going for us. Where should we start? I think we are going to read a section every evening, we get up at 4:45 and the morning is already rushed. I know the Jesus part is in the second half, but it's going to take a long time to read the whole book. So what is a good starting point? Thank you all for all of the support. It's weird talking about real life on here and not just being completely obnoxious (love you, my boomers). I'm finding a way to still be me and explore this without guilt and shame. Thanks to those of you who have supported that.

The endless chant of "democracy" is a smokescreen. It diverts voters from the true betrayal. Our elected officials, entrusted by the Founders to champion law-abiding Americans above all, now bow to illegal immigrants and billionaire donors like Soros. This isn't governance. It's abdication of duty. Madison warned against such elite puppeteers in Federalist 10. There, factions fueled by wealth threaten the republic.
