We're doing all we can to help Leonardo find a new home where he'll be loved as he deserves. At 10 years old, Leonardo had his entire world turned upside down. His owner passed away, and for a period of time, Leonardo was left alone in the house. Once he was finally found, he was taken to a Maryland shelter. Leonardo has already been through so much, and sitting in a shelter cage was only stressing him more. Working with allies in Maryland, we took him out of the shelter and into expert veterinary care. He has an upper respiratory infection and doesn't have an appetite, so we're starting treatment so we can get him perked up and eating. Despite everything, Leonardo is an incredibly sweet older guy. He'll sit in your lap for hours! We have high hopes that he'll make a recovery in our care, and we hope you'll send him your well wishes! 💙
