RAdm Iftekhar Alam, took over as Additional Director General Warship Design Bureau, New Delhi. He was commissioned in the #IndianNavy on 26 Nov 1994. An alumnus of Naval College of Engineering, Naval War College, Goa and National Defence Collage, Kenya, he holds an M Tech and PhD in Electronics & Telecommunication, and has held several afloat, staff, yard and command appointments in his career.
