The Notre Dame community is rightfully remembering a lot of great things about Lou Holtz. My grandpa gave me a biography of him when I was a kid and I grew up admiring him. But seeing him deteriorate into a MAGA lunatic in his later years was sad and deeply disappointing.

I’ve seen a number of accounts, some school accounts likely run by young people and other young journalists, who report losing scores first. The proper way to list a score is the winning score first every single time. Your team did not lose 68-75. They lost 75-68. Thank you.

I miss the days of 4 team sectional's all playing at a neutral location on the same night. You also had to win two games to be sectional champs. Those were the fun days of the tourney!!

@BBGreatMoments If "Having fun" is measured by the disrespect you display toward others, you have a poor ethic. Showing up the Ump shows a lack of respect not only for the umpire, but the game itself. It's a good lesson about respect for legitimate authority, which in baseball, the umpire is.

Ejecting a 12-year-old for having fun playing baseball is... a choice.

Nothing to do with short game or putting… just driving Driving the golf ball is one of the top 2 most important skills needed to lower your score (that and approach play) Mark Broadie’s book “Every Shot Counts” proves it. Nothing saying short game and putting isn’t important, it is! But driving and approach trumps it
