@calumnisbet @RichardBratby Hi Calum. It was a while ago now, but if I remember correctly it broke down on first use and eventually became the box office at the Stoll Theatre on Kingsway (originally The London Opera House, a project initiated by Oscar Hammerstein I believe). Demolished in 60s.

🎉 90 years ago #otd, Lilian Baylis established the Sadler’s Wells Opera Company at the newly re-opened the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, which would later become the English National Opera 🎶 The first opera, performed on 20 Jan 1931, was Carmen 💔💃🐂

@British_Airways just cancelled my third re-arrangement of flights for next month. Contact centre staff have been really lovely, but I think I have got the message now. Holiday is off in January!😢
