@TFMcGuire1954 @TomFitton @Pontifex I'm sure you've worked hard for your money, but you're not who the Pope is referring to, I'm sure of that. Don't worry, no one is coming for your bank account.

@PixelIntegrated @TomFitton @Pontifex Otto you really are a socialist. You don’t know your Bible. And just how much money that I have worked hard for do you believe you have a right to? Big government people which I think you are always scripturally bereft.

Am I the only one who couldn’t care less what the Vatican thinks about U.S. foreign policy? Seriously—why should it carry any weight here? Who’s with me?

Cultural wins don't pay the rent. You can close the border and change sports rules, but if the 'Epstein class' is still rigging the economy and shipping our wealth overseas, the average person is still going to be priced out of a life. Real 'better' requires actual accountability for the people at the top.

I'm saying what everyone is actually thinking but too afraid to say. Trump 2.0 sucks ass. The MAGA grifters and shills don't want to lose their acces to fancy Mar-a-Lago parties and White House press briefings. It's the sunken cost fallacy. They can't go back now or they risk exposing themselves and having their audiences turn on them. I will always be totally authentic with you all. It's been a wild ride the past few years... but I appreciate you all. God bless.

I appreciate the civil back-and-forth. While the 'word choice' might be debatable, the mission the Pope is highlighting—addressing extreme poverty with honesty and moral sense—is something most people can get behind. If we can move past the political terminology, there's a lot of important work to be done. Take care.

@Brian_Murray111 @TomFitton @Pontifex So, when the Apostles 'distributed' to those in need, it was holy, but when the Pope suggests a 'more equitable distribution,' it's Marxism? What exactly did he say that I obviously missed?

@PixelIntegrated @TomFitton @Pontifex It is still Marxist language, and the pope and the Vatican seem to have grabbed quite a bit of that disproportionate wealth, and used it on many shiny things. And he didn’t say anything like what you are saying, and he probably wouldn’t have received pushback if he had.

@OfoegbuRos1916 @MattWalshBlog The judge’s ruling wasn't about the app; it was about the government's attempt to strip legal status from people who did exactly what they were told to do. That’s not 'border crossing'—it's basic due process.

@PixelIntegrated @MattWalshBlog They are border crossers. Biden turned a trucking app to an immigration app with a stroke of a pen, no legislation. Trump with a stroke of a pen can reverse it, it's what executive orders are. Won't surprise me if the supreme court stricks this down like it has struck down others

The illegal immigration issue is not difficult or complex or nuanced. If they came here illegally, they need to leave. That's it. End of story. "But what if they've been here for 10 years???" They need to leave. "But what if they haven't committed any other crimes???" Leave. "But what if they have a family???" Leave. This isn't hard at all. We have laws in this country. You broke the law. You don't belong here. Nothing personal. But get the hell out. It should not be hard for elected Republicans to articulate this point. If they do have trouble articulating it -- if they take any position on illegal immigration except for this -- they can also go. That's not complicated either.

Brian, the 'language' you’re calling Marxist is actually the language of Catholic Social Teaching, which has been around since long before Marx was born. The Church teaches the Universal Destination of Goods—the idea that God created the earth for everyone, not just for those who can grab the most. Calling a 2,000-year-old moral demand for 'equitable distribution' Marxism is just a way to avoid the fact that the Gospel challenges your political comfort zone. If you 'see no issue' with voluntary communal sharing, then you agree with the Pope. He’s not calling for a state-run gulag; he’s calling for 'moral sense and honesty' in how we handle resources. You're getting hung up on the word 'distribution' as if it's a political trigger, but in the New Testament, it was the literal solution to extreme poverty. Why is it 'voluntary' when the Apostles do it, but 'Marxism' when the Pope suggests we try it again?

Brian, you might want to re-read Acts 4:32-35. It literally says the early believers 'held everything in common' and that money was 'distributed to each as anyone had need.' If that sounds like 'Marxist language' to you, then you’re essentially calling the foundations of the Christian Church Marxist. The Pope isn't inventing new concepts; he’s citing the original ones.

It seems to me, that the scriptures encourage charity, and helping the poor, not Marxism. I also don’t think it is accurate to label this as calling everything one doesn’t like as Marxist. And I don’t recall anything that talks about wealth distribution (Marxist language) and taking from one to distribute it to another.l in the New Testament.

Loretta, the Pope isn't arguing against the existence of jobs; he’s arguing for the dignity of the people working them. Creating a million jobs doesn't mean much if those workers still can’t afford the basic 'resources' he’s talking about while the 'disproportionate wealth' stays at the very top. You can support capitalism and still believe that the current distribution is, as he put it, an 'unjust scenario.

@PixelIntegrated @TomFitton @Pontifex Except for the fact that capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system. How many jobs do you suppose have been created by Musk or others? What would those employees be doing without those industries?

He could start by addressing the massive corporate acquisitions of single-family homes and ending the tax breaks for institutional investors that outbid actual families. Building more is only half the battle if they’re all bought up by private equity before a first-time buyer even sees the listing.

Trump is my horse. I’ve been betting on him for a decade and he’s come through every time. I can assure you no “influencer” or “podcaster” will cause me to pull up stakes and run. MAGA is ride or die so if you’re jumping off the train now you were never MAGA to begin with.

It’s bold of a guy who is currently being sued for not actually living in Alabama to tell other people to 'leave'. Maybe you should lead by example, Coach. If you're so worried about people 'assimilating' to American laws, maybe start with the residency requirements in the Alabama Constitution. You treat the U.S. Senate like a Vanderbilt game in 2001—unprepared, outmatched, and ultimately a huge disappointment for everyone who showed up to support you.

Many supported the administration for its "anti-war" stance, yet 2026 saw the launch of Operation Absolute Resolve (Venezuela) and Operation Epic Fury (Iran). By April 2026, the Pentagon was requesting a $200 billion emergency supplemental for wars that were supposedly "stopped" or avoided. One of the biggest 2024 promises was the full release of the Epstein files and the prosecution of those involved. By 2026, with total control of the executive branch, no high-profile names have been prosecuted, and institutional elites are largely operating with the same immunity they had under previous administrations. The home-price-to-income ratio hit 7.14 this year. Supporting the administration through 2026 meant accepting a status quo where the "American Dream" became mathematically impossible for the average worker, despite the campaign's populist rhetoric. The movement often campaigned on free speech and personal liberty, yet by 2026, the administration has pivoted toward state-level censorship, book bans, and threats to strip the legal status of political "disloyalists. By April 2026, the administration's actions (new wars, record military spending, and shielding the Epstein class) were in direct opposition to the core values its supporters claimed to defend.

The people criticizing Trump’s betrayal of his campaign promises are the realest people on earth. When Biden ran this country into the ground there was no ground-swell of Democrats criticizing him. Not one person in the media stepped out of line to push back. Democrats that voted for him hid under a rock as our border was wide open with God knows who crossing it. Not one of them demanded the release of the JFK, MLK, or Epstein files. Not one criticized our involvement in Ukraine, they actually supported it. Not one criticized Israeli influence in our government. But, those of us that love our country immediately spoke up when we realized we were lied to. Democrats hold rallies about “No Kings” and whatever the next slogan is. But, they’re ok with a king ruling actually. As long as that king supports open borders, abortions, white hatred, and an endless welfare state. So, to my fellow Americans who actually have the balls to admit when you were wrong, and not blindly follow a man, but stay true to yourself and your family… I salute you. 🫡
