Guys, in today’s @DailyMonitor you will see opulence at its finest. Madam AAA had a Kigo mansion, a Kololo Hilltop Estate, a Nakasero Mansion, a residence in Ntinda, a lavish Bukedea country home and an additional Buyende property. The properties had bullet resistant glass, steel reinforcements and top level security. This babe was truly going to be a problem to the regime.

@ProtecTheSteal @KakandeAlex The word "invest" is being misused here. What govt wants is money directly from NSSF - loan or otherwise. It would be highly irregular & against @nssfug's fiduciary duty to savers. Road construction a stimulus for economic productivity, but no quantifiable value to pensioners

@KakandeAlex 30+ years is actually OK for pension funds. A 25 yr old saver will actually still be working before the 30 years elapse. What I don't like is NSSF investing in only T Bonds. Bonds mean lazy investment with no jobs created. Investing in a factory will also create 1000s of jobs.

Commercial viability doesn't mean profitability. NSSF is in business of protecting Saver's money but also grow it and give them a profit. If a project will take 30+ years for it to be profitable, why would you want savers money in such a project? Atiak Sugar projects
