I decided that since I have horrible luck with bell peppers, I am growing a couple mini bell and snack able pepper plants this year. I have seeds for regular bell peppers, 🫑 but at this point, I will stick with the little peppers. Mine never get any bigger than mini ones anyways. 😂

@kupal_robinson Watching all my plants go from seed to pot to bigger pot to bed and then learning how to collect the seeds has been so rewarding and fascinating.

A friend came to the farm and she was so surprised to see water stored inside the maize..... And me, I'm like it's normal now 🙄 But truly as farmers our observations seem ordinary to farmers but fascinating to people seeing them for the first time

@ItsRobbAllen For future reference most of the time they are just fine, wrens nest in low bushes and things like that not in the trees so if you found on the ground it’s possible he didn’t need your help at all.

I love birds, but I have no idea how to care for a baby wren. But I can't just say 'no' either. *sigh*

There’s a lot here too. Ya know every year I see some new critter, this year it’s little lizards before I would only see the skinks, now we have bats, bees, butterflies, fireflies, skinks, lizards, what have you. We stopped spraying weed killer and pesticides in the yard so plant life and insect life is booming here. Wonder what I’ll see tomorrow. 🤗

Can you imagine my delight this morning when I saw a dozen dragonflies diving around behind the garden?!?

Sourdough is one of those hobbies that leaves evidence everywhere. A dusting of flour on the counter. A handprint on the oven door. A streak across your jeans. A mystery smudge on the refrigerator handle. You start the day making bread. By evening it looks like you’ve been fingerprinted by a bag of flour.

@JessicaDoyle Don’t worry about it! Seriously it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to whether you tend to it or not. Sometimes I like to play the game of guess the plant that’s growing out of it. Fix it when you can, if not don’t worry about it. It’ll be fine.

@HemmerleinLee Truly I just want to connect with people. I love seeing people’s gardens, crafts, food, what have you, as long as it’s genuine. Real people doing actual things not for clicks or followers but things they enjoy. I love that.

I know I keep hearing this is a news app, but we need distractions that's why I post mostly Farm content. What other content do you look for outside of the norm on this app such as news, stocks, and political posts. Are you looking for wholesome content, farming, gardening, something funny, stories, or even the thirst traps I'm curious? The tomatoes have almost made it to the top of the cattle panels.

Well, it looks like the squash bugs found one of my poor little squash plants 😭 We went outside this morning and one of the plants had snapped. I need to pay better attention! Anyone have any tips to help save the remaining squash?

Has anybody even been to this town? CENTRAILIA, PA. I love stuff like this. I’ve seen several lives on Tik Tok with people walking through and giving us a birds eyes view tour. I hope to walk through this ghost town myself someday. Centralia, PA, mine fires, have been burning since May 1962 and are predicted to burn for another 250 years! This town is literally on fire. Everyone was forced to Evacuate many years ago.
